Neighbours spoilers: Paul Robinson dies as loved ones ignore the signs?

The lies of Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) are going to become deadly – for him. When no one believes what’s actually wrong with him in Neighbours, his lies are going to bite him in the face.

Paul piqued David’s (Takaya Honda) suspicions that he was spinning a yarn about his health by sacking his doctor, Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), and hiring a mystery expert. When it becomes evident that Paul lied about his illness in order to manipulate Terese, David proves to be spot on (Rebekah Elmaloglou). He’s a skilled manipulator, but his skill could cost him his life.

Terese (Richard Huggett) is depressed, and Glen (Richard Huggett) wants to cheer her up. He hears that Ned (Ben Hall) and Harlow (Jemma Donovan) have gone paintballing, which inspires him to think that it may be the perfect way for Terese to unwind. It’s a decent attempt, but it doesn’t succeed since no amount of steam she lets off will erase the one thing on her mind – Paul. She can’t seem to get his name out of her head.

But, no matter how much she cares about him, it isn’t enough to save his life. His family and friends have begun to suspect he is suffering from anxiety as a result of his recent strange behaviour. However, they are oblivious to the warning indicators.

They even suspect he’s pulling a quick one to take advantage of Terese’s diminishing attention. No one is concerned by his antics, so they leave him alone – which could be a fatal error.

Paul collapses when he is alone and ill. He’s unconscious and in desperate need of medical help, but he has no one to help him, especially not his medic son and best friend. Glen decides to pay him a quick visit and finds the awful situation. Is it too late for him?

Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, February 21.
