In Neighbours, David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) was taken aback when Aaron Brennan (Matt Willis) offered that they start the process of becoming Abigail’s parents.
Following Leo’s (Tim Kano) request, the couple is currently caring for Abigail.
As viewers are aware, Leo has been dealing with the aftermath of Britney Barnes’ (Montana Cox) death.
Britney died a few weeks ago during the huge storm week on the Chanel 5 soap, which saw an electric pole collapse onto the Flamingo bar in the aftermath of Kyle Canning’s (Chris Milligan) and Roxy Willis’ (Zima Anderson) wedding.
After losing his confidence as Abi’s father as a result of an accident, Leo asked David and Aaron to take over as her guardians.
David was hesitant at first, but he and Aaron eventually agreed to take on the task. Leo eventually moved out, but David and Aaron have made every effort to convince him to spend time with his daughter.
Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) and Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) spoke with him, but Leo made it obvious that he believes Abigail is in the finest possible care with David and Aaron.
Aaron, on the other hand, is becoming increasingly attached to Abi, putting Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes) in a tight spot.
Aaron asked his hubby if they could talk about the deal they’d made with Leo after the episode ended.
David consented, but it wasn’t long before it became clear that the couple were on opposite sides of the fence, with Aaron seeking legal assistance in order to make this a permanent arrangement!
