Tahnee Sims, the girlfriend of late Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo, had an incredible experience at Taylor Swift’s Sydney concert earlier this week.
Sims uploaded pictures to Instagram showing her grinning while nailing her angles during the Eras Tour performance at Accor Stadium.
The stunning woman appeared to be having the time of her life as she watched the lavish four-hour concert while posing for pictures with her friends from the stadium stands.
After losing Ruffo in November, many of her fans were overjoyed that she was able to enjoy a nice night out and swiftly congratulated her in the comment section.
One fan wrote, “Good to see you smile again Tahnee and that you had a good night out.” Another fan said, “Keep smiling even when your heart aches.”
A third person said, “You should have gotten Taylor’s hat during 22 in memory of your darling Johnny.”
Another individual wrote, “The pain is still there, but it’s so great that you can do something nice.”
Sims’ night out follows Ruffo’s quiet passing on November 10 at a Sydney hospital, following a protracted fight with brain cancer, with his loved ones by his side.
Sims revealed her emotions in a heartfelt Instagram post on New Year’s Eve.
Sims described her mixed emotions about going into 2024 with dread and hope.
“A part of me is excited to start a new year, and the other part finds it unbearable to think about starting it without J,” she said.
Following a medical visit for excruciating headaches in 2017, Johnny was initially diagnosed with brain cancer.
He had a 7cm brain tumour surgically removed from his frontal lobe in August of that year after being sent for chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
After receiving his first diagnosis in 2017, Johnny experienced months of remission until disclosing in November 2020 that the illness had resurfaced.
He disclosed in August 2022 that his brain cancer was terminal and expressed concern about Tahnee, his partner, handling his loss.
