The show is exploring a cult storyline.
The official teaser spoilers for Home and Away’s Australian episodes airing the following week have been made public as the intrigue around newcomer Andrew Lawrence intensifies.
Andrew, a traumatized adolescent, recently entered Justin Morgan’s life by asking for assistance after seeing him performing community service.
Since then, the program has investigated a number of upsetting information about Andrew’s past. When his father, who had been a member of a cult, passed away, he was discovered alone and asleep at home.
Further investigation by the neighborhood police force revealed that Andrew was reported missing when he was four years old because his father had kidnapped him. The authorities are now having trouble contacting Andrew’s family members, particularly his mother who has been apart from him for so long.
Leah Patterson, Justin’s partner, looked into the doomsday cult that Andrew’s father was a part of during Thursday’s triple episode run in Australia (May 11).
Children who talked out of turn would be locked in a chamber without food or water for days, according to Leah, who said to Justin. That is torture and is against the law.
It explains why Andrew is so reclusive, though. He was brainwashed into keeping quiet.
Next week’s teaser spoilers hint that Andrew could still be in danger, so could the cult still have an interest in him following his father’s death?
