Pip Edwards’ ex-partner Dan Single is forced to address rumours he’s romantically involved with Neighbours star Sarah Ellen

Dan Single has denied dating Sarah Ellen, a former Neighbours actress.

Sources told The Sunday Telegraph that the couple’met and fell for each other’ at Byron Bay, where they’ve both been residing in recent months.

Dan, on the other hand, quickly refuted the reports on Sunday, claiming that the two are just ‘friends’ and that they are ‘100% not in a relationship’.

‘Every time we’re asked the same question, we chuckle and say, ‘Can’t a guy and a woman just be friends?’ ‘I told the publication,’ he said.

‘We are the best of friends who have a mutual bond for life, adventure, and all the beauty that comes with it,’ he continued.

The artistic duo has lately collaborated on paintings for the organisation AIME, which seeks to help 100,000 marginalised children by 2025.

Dan was previously linked to Pip Edwards, the creator of P.E Nation. Justice, the former couple’s 15-year-old son, is the couple’s only child.

He was also in a relationship with Bambi Northwood-Blyth, a model from New York.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Edwards was forced to deny she was rekindling her affair with Dan at Justin Hemmes’ Silver Party last month.

‘Dan is the father of my child, and we have a co-parent relationship,’ Pip told the publication when asked if a reunion was on the cards.

The couple divorced in 2008, yet they are still friends.

Pip has since dated cricketer Michael Clarke and Bondi restauranteur Cameron Northway, and is thought to be single at the moment.

Single reportedly turned down a chance to star in Byron Baes, an Australian reality docu-soap series.

He was approached to star in the show but turned it down, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Dan, the founder of the Australian design label Ksubi, also works as a DJ in Byron Bay and is a familiar presence on the social scene.

He now performs under the stage name ‘Dangerous Dan,’ and frequently performs at local nightclubs and festivals.

Dan and his ex-girlfriend Pip were formerly Australia’s ‘It’ couple in the fashion business, with Dan co-founding the denim line and Pip working as the chief designer for General Pants.
