Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson announces she’s ENGAGED to boyfriend Sam Morrison five months after going public with their romance: ‘I can’t wait for forever with you’

Bonnie Anderson of Neighbours is engaged to her boyfriend Sam Morrison, five months after they made their romance public.

On Sunday afternoon, the actress, 27, announced the happy news on her Instagram page, posting a snapshot of herself beaming with her new fiancé.

‘I CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT I’M SEEING!!!’ My dearest friend proposed to me and asked me to marry him! ‘I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love! ❤️’ she captioned the photo.

During a romantic trip to the NSW coastal resort of Byron Bay, Sam is said to have proposed to his girlfriend.

Bonnie proudly displayed her diamond ring in the accompanying photos, which showed the recently engaged couple happy while out on a nature walk.

Sam also told his Instagram followers about the news, adding, ‘I couldn’t be happier.’ More than everything, I adore this girl. ‘Let’s spend the rest of our lives together,’ she says.

Bonnie’s message received an outpouring of support from her celebrity friends and former co-stars.

Australia’s Love Island ‘Omg congratulations darling girl!!!!’ wrote Anna McEvoy.

‘Congratulations Bon!!’ wrote Jemma Donovan of Neighbours.

Bonnie and Sam made their relationship public on November 1st of last year, when Bonnie posted a loving selfie of the two eating dinner.

Bonnie had reportedly split from her last lover Matthew Bushby just one month prior to the revelation of their romance.

Bonnie began seeing Matthew in March of last year, telling the Herald Sun that she was ‘in a really happy, confident place.’

Bonnie had a brief relationship with male model Brenton Goldsack before meeting Matt.

Bonnie got herself in trouble with the law in 2017 when she was accused of lying to authorities to protect her drug-abusing ex-boyfriend Matt Arnautovic.

In July 2019, she pled guilty to failing to notify authorities that Arnautovic was driving her car when he sped away from cops in 2017.

Bonnie was later released after the incident on a good behaviour bond.
