Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) and Nic (Charlotte Chimes) are about to become unknowing love rivals when they realise they both have a thing for Kiri.
Nic first saw her when they met at River Bend, and things were going swimmingly until Glen (Richard Huggett) swam in and turned Kiri against her, with the ulterior aim of keeping his secret hidden.
Nic was devastated, but when Kiri announced that she was moving to Erinsborough, Nic viewed it as an opportunity to redeem herself.
Chloe, unintentionally, has different ideas, so her hopes may be misguided.
Nic is desperate to regain Kiri’s favour after Glen appears to have damaged her prospects. Nic joins the street beach trip after hearing that Kiri is going, with the intention of using the day to woo her. They are able to resolve their differences, but they choose to remain friends, which Nic does not want. But for now, she’ll take what she can get in the hopes of continuing to warm Kiri’s heart and moving things further in the future.
Someone else – Nic’s ex, Chloe – has sensed a spark with Kiri, so that hope may be futile. Things are about to get a little tense.
During a steamy yoga class, Chloe and Kiri come far closer than Nic would like, and they realise they have some strong flames between them. The sexual energy is building, and they come dangerously close to going farther, but they politely decline.
They finally admit they have feelings for each other, but they agree they can’t pursue them further due to Nic’s lovelessness. But now it’s up to them to see if they can keep their hands off each other.
Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, April 11th.
