After the introduction of a new inhabitant to Ramsay Street, Neighbours has altered its opening titles once more.
Kiri Durant (Gemma Bird Matheson) has thoroughly fit into Erinsborough after appearing in the sequence, according to Friday’s (April 1) episode on Channel 5.
The former scene of Glen (Richard Huggett) and Leo (Tim Kano) walking through the vineyard together has been replaced with a shot of Kiri, who has recently begun working there.
After the abrupt departure of Shelia Canning (Colette Mann) and the entrance of Amy’s daughter Zara Selwyn (Freya Van Dyke) and newcomer Freya Wozniak, the opening sequence saw the most alterations (Phoebe Roberts).
Kiri consented to come in as Chloe’s (April Rose Pengilly) new housemate after some coaxing in the most recent episode. After learning about Chloe’s history, Kiri halted her recent romance with Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes), Chloe’s ex-fiancée.
With her tragedy behind her, sparks are flowing between herself and Chloe, but now that she is officially neighbours with Nicolette, viewers can expect this love triangle to heat up in the coming weeks.
“I think Neighbours fans are going to have some ideas on Kiri’s love interests and where they end up,” Gemma Bird Matheson suggested lately.
Meanwhile, Glen’s attempts to entice Kiri away from Erinsborough following the discovery that he is her long-lost father are failing as she begins her new job as Events Manager at the vineyard.
