The cast of Neighbours’ comeback series includes Big Brother Australia’s Xavier Molyneux.
The real-life Ramsay Street in Melbourne is located at Pin Oak Court, where paparazzi photographers have seen Xavier working on location.
The OC actress Mischa Barton, who had been confirmed for an intriguing guest role on the upcoming season, was spotted with Xavier.
There is no official confirmation of Xavier’s involvement in Neighbours, therefore it is unknown whose character he will play.
Fans of Big Brother Australia may already be familiar with Xavier because he competed in the 12th season in 2020.
Xavier has filmed roles in the short films Girl and Aussie of the Year since leaving the Big Brother house. Along with Adam Demos, Radha Mitchell, and ex-Home and Away actor Jake Ryan, he also starred in the movie Take My Hand.
Recently, Neighbours has made a number of casting announcements, and production on the new season is already well underway.
It was announced last month that Mischa would be portraying Reece, an American visitor to Erinsborough who isn’t quite who she seems to be.
The executive producer of Neighbours, Jason Herbison, recently stated: “We are beyond pleased to have an actor of Mischa’s calibre join us for the beginning of this exciting new chapter with Neighbours launching on Amazon Freevee in North America.
“Mischa’s character is unexpected and vibrant, and he or she will be immediately recognisable on Ramsay Street. Both domestic and international fans will adore her.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the next chapter of this legendary show, and I am especially looking forward to being back in Australia, a country I know and love, said Mischa. Reece will make for a fantastic part for me to perform and explore, in my opinion.
