They’ve accomplished everything, from making families to Hollywood blockbusters!
Neighbours ended its 37-year run in July 2022, and just a few months later, fans were treated to a relaunch that will air in early 2023!
But all of this information is making us incredibly homesick for some of Ramsay Street’s most recognisable former cast members.
While some former Neighbours performers have gone on to become Hollywood powerhouses, others have chosen a peaceful life away from the spotlight after bidding Erinsborough farewell.

Jeremy Donovan
Jason Donovan, who is most known for his on-screen romance with Kylie Minogue’s Charlene in Neighbours, is one of many famous people who got their start there. Jason relocated to the UK after quitting the soap opera in 1989 and established a lucrative music career there. He has appeared on both Dancing on Ice and Strictly Come Dancing for the BBC.
Pearce, Guy
Guy gained notoriety for his role as Mike Young between 1986 and 1989, when he left to pursue an acting career abroad. The Hurt Locker, Iron Man 3, Factory Girl, and Mary Queen of Scots are Guy’s most prominent roles to date.
Carice van Houten, a Dutch actress, and Guy presently date. They have a kid together named Monte who was born in August 2016.
Inky Minogue
Many would contend that pop princess Kylie Minogue is the dominant figure of Neighbours’ bygone era. With her on-screen romance with Scott Robinson, who was portrayed by Jason Donovan as Charlene Robinson, Kylie stole fans’ hearts.
Since bidding farewell to Ramsay Street in 1988, Kylie’s singing career has soared. To name a few awards, she has won a Grammy, three Brit Awards, and 17 ARIA Music Awards. Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Spinning Around, I Should Be So Lucky, and The Loco-Motion are some of her tunes that have become timeless classics.
Bobbie Robbie
One of the most well-known actors to ever emerge from Neighbours is without a doubt the golden girl Margot. She established herself as one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actresses after quitting the role of Donna Freedman in 2011.
Margot, who is now residing in the US, has gone on to appear in a number of films, including Suicide Squad, The Wolf of Wall Street, I, Tonya, Bombshell, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Hemsworth, Liam
Liam Hemsworth is another Neighbours graduate who has achieved success in Hollywood. He has acted in hit movies like The Dressmaker, Knowing, and The Hunger Games. Liam has also experienced a highly public relationship. Before getting married in 2018, he met pop diva Miley Cyrus while filming The Last Song. However, the couple divorced formally in 2020. He has been seeing the model Gabriella Brooks for the past three years.
Calista Stasey
From 2005 to 2009, Caitlin developed before our eyes as Rachael Kinski on Neighbours, but after leaving Ramsay Street, she didn’t stop there.
She currently resides in the US and has roles in Tomorrow, When the War Began, and All Cheerleaders Die. She was previously married to American actor Lucas Neff, which is personal information.
Nicholas Ben
Ben gained notoriety in 2004 when he made his Neighbours debut as the disobedient teen Scott “Stingray” Timmins. He looks much different now than he did when he lived on Ramsay Street. In addition to becoming a father, Ben continues to work in the entertainment sector.
Ben produced and starred in ABC’s spoof reality series Footballer Wants A Wife in 2015, which followed young football stars on their contemporary search for love. Ben currently heads Wedid Productions, a flourishing content production company.
Ms. Holly Vallance
Who could forget Felicity Scully, a.k.a. “Flick”? Former Neighbours star Holly Vallance, who currently resides in the US with her husband Nick Candy and their two children, quit the soap opera permanently in 2005.
Holly has continued to be in the public eye since her Erinsborough days thanks to appearances in Entourage, Prison Break, and the action movie Red Herring.
Steven Spencer
Before moving for Hollywood, Jesse spent six years as Billy Kennedy on the soap opera. He appeared in Chicago Fire and House, two popular American television programmes, as well as the classic romance Uptown Girls.
Goodrem, Delta
The role of aspiring singer Nina Tucker on Neighbours gave Delta her big break. With the exception of a brief reappearance in 2015, Delta has had a successful music career both domestically and abroad since leaving the soap opera in 2005.
The Voice’s judging panel has featured the singing sensation on seven occasions. Additionally, she has accumulated 17 top-ten hits and nine number-one singles on the ARIA Singles Chart.
Casey Clark
Sam Clark, who portrayed the wayward Ringo on Neighbours from 2007 to 2010, quit the show to pursue a career in music. He was given a part on Fox’s Grease Live in 2016. As well as Tell Me I Love You and A Deadly Dance, he also starred in Death Camp.
Nicholas Whelan
Nicky Whelan is most known for her role as Heidi “Pepper” Steiger in Neighbours, but she has also appeared in a number of Australian and foreign film and television projects. She has also appeared in shows including Scrubs, Melrose Place, Hall Pass, and House of Lies.
McDonough, Blair
From 2001 to 2018, Blair, who gained notoriety on Big Brother’s first season, intermittently played Stuart Packer on Neighbours.
Blair is a family man; he and his wife Kristi Townley have two children together. He has appeared on Home and Away, Winners and Losers, Heartbeat, and Sea Patrol.
David Smith
Before departing from his role as the beloved Harold Bishop in 2015, Ian Smith was one of Ramsay Street’s most recognisable faces.
Since then, he has made appearances on the TV shows Hughesy, We Have a Problem and How to Stay Married from the year 2021.
