It’s called blonde ambition for a reason: it takes effort, which is why Sam Frost’s latest transformation is more amazing than it appears.
The actress has debuted her first makeover since leaving Home and Away, and she looks stunning.
She posted a before and after photo of her final look on Instagram to demonstrate how badly she needed a makeover.
Her before photo wasn’t horrible, but her stressed tresses required a little oomph and toner to revitalise them.
To emulate the pricey blonde trend, the former actress chose a creamy blonde finish with a yellow tinge with the help of her hairdresser, Ella Jean.
Ella also gave Sam a red lip and lashes, which was ideal dinner date inspiration.
The photos were captioned by the former Bachelorette, who said, “@ellajeanhairandmakeup before and after 😶 Working with gorgeous pals is always a good time x.”
Friends and fans flocked to her comment area to show their support.
Sarah Roberts, a former co-star on Home and Away, said, “Beautiful ❤️” “Gorgeous 😍,” said singer Ricki Lee, and “Elsa?” wrote Ryan Johnson.
Ella also posted a photo of Sam to show off their accomplishments to her fans, captioning the photo, “I’ll just leave it at that ✨ Today on @fro01, we’re talking about hair and makeup. Check out the product breakdown below ⬇️.”
Fans can recreate Sam’s look with a variety of products, including the immaculate Nars Sheer glow, Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk eyeshadow palette, and Laura Mercier’s renowned setting powder, according to her breakdown.
Lynne McGranger revealed that she has now been double-vaccinated and would be permitted back on set, prompting Sam’s refresh.
She made waves in December when she announced her departure from the show when Channel 7 made the COVID immunisation mandatory for all cast and crew.
Lynne confirmed to Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa that the former Bachelorette could return to Home and Away.
“She spoke to me, and let me just say that the door isn’t shut, it’s wide open. Sam had to be with her family, who are currently in Melbourne “Lynne remarked.
“Of course, there were some complications having her vaccinated, but I’m here to tell you that she is now twice vaccinated, and perhaps boosted as well.” She needed to be with her family, but she is welcome to return at any time.
“With the way she’s now gone from the bay, there’s lots of room for her to return, and I’m sure she’s in talks with the producers right now.”
Sam’s new hair colour comes after her ex-boyfriend and Survivor contestant Jay Bruno revealed why he dumped her following a brief relationship last year.
“It’s certainly difficult because you care about the other person,” he told Sydney Confidential. “But people break up all the time, and I didn’t want to lead her on, so I moved on.”
“It’s fairly straightforward; I just couldn’t see a future with her.”
