Sarah Roberts, a former star of Home and Away who portrayed Willow Harris, has posted a moving remembrance of her brother Karl on the fourth anniversary of his passing.
Karl fought brain cancer for 15 years before passing away in October 2019.
The day of Karl’s anniversary, Monday, saw Sarah share a fan-made ode to her brother following the upload of several pictures by a fan page in remembrance of Karl.
“I’m stuck for words, so thank you for your lovely ones. Today marks four years without him,” Sarah retweeted.
It said as the original caption:
“The bad news is that you will never fully get over the loss of the person you can’t live without, but the good news is that they live on forever in your broken heart, which doesn’t mend, and you will survive.”
It’s comparable to having a broken limb that never fully heals and still hurts in the winter, but you learn to move with the limp.
Pictures of Sarah, Karl, and other family members were displayed in the video.
Co-stars of Home and Away, Ada Nicodemou and Jackson Heywood, as well as fans, expressed their support for Sarah in the comments section by posting love hearts and expressing sympathy.
“The loss is genuine and today is difficult. It’s still terrible, and we miss him. I’m thinking of everyone today. “Four years is too long,” someone said.
