Home and Away Spoilers – Tane and Felicity attempt to foster a baby

Felicity takes over on this week’s episode of Home and Away in Australia after Tane is unable to care for the baby he found abandoned the previous week and Theo starts to grow dependent on Valerie’s medication.

Tane (Ethan Browne), who was shocked to see a newborn left on the beach last week in a gym bag, has refused to leave her side even after she was taken to Northern Districts Hospital.

While recently promoted Senior Constable Rose (Kirsty Marillier) has begun her first enquiry in her new rank, social worker Harper (Jessica Redmaybe) has swiftly started the process of locating some emergency foster care. Fortunately, the newborn girl was unhurt.

When entrusting the infant to paramedic Jo (Katie Horky), Tane immediately connected with her, and housemates Mackenzie (Emily Weir) and Mali (Kyle Shilling) were taken aback by how protective Tane had grown of her.

Mali remarked, “I didn’t realise you were such a baby guy.” Tane continued, explaining that he had always desired a family and that this was a contributing factor in his recent divorce from Felicity (Jacqui Purvis).

But as Tane persisted in refusing to leave the hospital after staying up late, Mali and Mac’s worries for him increased.

According to TV Week, this week Mac and Mali hesitantly enquire about Tane’s intentions. They are taken aback when he says he wants to take care of the child in the event that her parents are absent.

Tane has already given her the nickname Maia, a Māori name that denotes bravery, tenacity, and self-assurance.

Mali questions if Tane is just attempting to make up for the loss of Flick in his life, but Tane is resolute and won’t talk about it any more.

Ethan told TV Week, “Tane is trying his hardest to move on and concentrate on life after the split.” “He’s having a hard time deciding what he wants to do with his life, but he’s doing great and the future seems bright.”

When his housemates are unable to persuade him otherwise, Bree (Juliet Godwin) tries to get Tane to reconsider, but he remains steadfast in his decision to move forward.

But the native of New Zealand quickly hits a roadblock when he learns that he needs to be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident in order to register as a foster parent.

Ethan went on, “He wants to make sure this baby is placed in a proper home and care. He wants the best for her.” “Because he found her, he can’t help but feel responsible for her.”

Flick overhears Alf (Ray Meagher) and Roo (Georgie Parker) talking about Tane’s predicament.

She is suddenly motivated to assist Tane and starts researching her options for applying to become a carer.

It’s a dramatic turnabout for Flick, who continued to take the pill in an attempt to conceive with Tane out of desperation, and their marriage ended as a result of this betrayal.

When Tane finds out about Flick’s plans, how will he respond? Will he think she’s really trying to assist, or that this is just her obvious scheme to get Tane to come back to her?

In another part of Summer Bay, Valerie (Courtney Clarke) seems to be starting to feel guilty about getting Theo (Matt Evans) addicted to drugs.

Valerie had been in a mental health clinic for the past six months, unable to deal with her family’s disavowal of her following her involvement in an accident that claimed her brother Josh’s life. Valerie had discharged herself and travelled to Summer Bay to support her former roommate, Ada Nicodemou, after meeting Leah during her own hospital stay.

Theo and Valerie drew each other’s attention right away, and when Theo was feeling low, Valerie provided him a small item to lift his spirits, explaining that it was her way of coping with thoughts of her brother.

Theo was eager to taste it again after a day of euphoria and offered to pay for another supply. However, bandmate and ex-girlfriend Kirby (Angelina Thomson) has observed Theo’s small excursions and has berated him after catching him surfing last week after witnessing him intoxicated the previous evening.

When she discovered that Theo had completely forgotten about their scheduled interview for their duo act later that morning, she became even less impressed.

Theo, the frontman band Lyrik, hasn’t always been able to handle media appearances; at their album launch interview, he froze. But Valerie had urged Theo to do this interview alone, claiming that if Kirby never trusted him, he would never get better.

Kirby promised Theo that she would do the interview, but Theo insisted on going ahead as scheduled after receiving additional pressure from Valerie. However, it appears that he will require some assistance.

Theo is impressed with himself when he later sees the interview online, remarking that he can’t even recall saying a specific quote, as a teaser for this week’s episode indicates.

Valerie cautions him, “Maybe you shouldn’t be doing interviews while you’re high because you don’t remember saying it.”

“Why?” Theo queries. “Normally I’m horrible at this, but right now I’m amazing!”

The following morning, Justin, the band manager, gets a call from a local radio station asking to interview Theo.

When Theo finds out that it will be later that day, he becomes anxious and immediately asks Valerie for more of her supply—for the third day in a row.

He implores her, “That’s the only reason I did well on that interview.” “Please,”

“Theo, this is real, right?” Valerie brings it to his attention. “What you do is eternally public knowledge. Are you absolutely certain you can manage that much pressure?

“Yes, absolutely,” Theo answers.

Will Valerie intervene and stop Theo before it’s too late if he is growing too dependent on the pills?
