In the aftermath of his breakup with Felicity (Jacqui Purvis), Tane (Ethan Browne) has been receiving mysterious gifts and notes, and he believes the newcomer – and sister of new senior police constable Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) – is to blame.
Felicity, on the other hand, has been adamant that she was not the one who sent the roses whenever Tane has inquired about it. Their brief fling is over now that they’ve both convinced each other that the other is insane.
When Felicity notices Tane on the beach with Mackenzie (Emily Weir), she heads to Salt to tell the owner about the Parata brother. Mackenzie, on the other hand, is well acquainted with Tane and makes it obvious that she will not listen to anything Felicity has to say.
Mackenzie and Tane are having a drink at Salt that night when Felicity walks in. Mackenzie approaches Felicity and informs her that she will not serve her, determined not to let her ruin their evening. Felicity is then thrown out of the bar.
Mackenzie has the impression that someone is following her as she walks to her car to go home. She screams out to Felicity, certain she’s up to no good once more, but no one responds.
A mysterious figure emerges from behind the bushes after Mackenzie has driven away…
