With the departure of Kirby Aramoana (played by Angelina Thomson) on Home and Away (1:45pm – check our TV Guide for programming), Lyrik is determined to carry on as a three-piece band.
Their next performance is already scheduled at Salt.
But when Justin Morgan (James Stewart), the band manager, calls a URGENT meeting, Lyrik suffers a devastating blow.
The band might not be able to play songs from their first album, Justin gives the terrible news.
Forrest Duke (Elijah Williams), Kirby’s new manager, is refusing to grant copyright permissions for any Lyrik songs that Kirby wrote!
Justin is resolved to deal with the circumstance.
He makes an attempt to reason with Forrest, suggesting that Lyrik be given permission to continue performing Kirby’s songs and that she receive payment.
Is Justin going to save the day with his last-minute proposal, just before the gig at Salt?
Since she left the band to pursue a solo career, Kirby’s relationship with her former bandmates, Remi Carter (Adam Rowland), Eden Fowler (Stephanie Panozzo), and Theo Poulos (Matt Evans), has soured.
When Eden flung Kirby’s possessions outside onto the street, it was obvious how she felt!
Kirby confides in Juliet Godwin’s character Bree Cameron that the other band members are treating her coldly.
Forrest says it might be best if Kirby avoids contact with Eden, Remi, and Theo.
But when they all live together, won’t that be a little challenging?
But it appears Bree may have a surprising answer to Kirby’s problem!
