Mia feels closer to Chloe than ever after their weekend away, but she’s holding a significant secret from her daughter in this week’s episode of Home And Away.
Matthew (James Sweeny), Chloe’s (Sam Barrett) father, has arrived and is eager to see the kid he never knew he had. If Mia (Anna Samson) does not help, he threatens to destroy her world.
“Mia is completely taken aback by the fact that the past has reappeared in Summer Bay,” Anna tells TV WEEK. “She thought she’d left him behind for good, and with good cause. She is terrified by the prospect of his being in their lives. She is adamantly opposed to the notion.”
Chloe has plenty on her mind to be distracted from Mia’s deception, with Theo (Matt Evans) and Ryder (Lukas Radovich) still fighting for her attention.
When Theo (Rob Kipa-Williams) harasses Mia and Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) about Chloe, she finds herself entangled in yet another struggle between the two young men.
Meanwhile, Mia approaches Matthew as he exits the gym, demanding that he leave the Bay forever. Mia mistakenly discloses her identity while claiming Chloe isn’t interested in meeting him. He agrees to accompany us.
Anna explains, “Mia doesn’t like or trust Matthew.” “She understood it was for the best that he wasn’t in her life or that of her daughter.”
Before he can depart, Matthew hears Irene (Lynne McGranger) shout Chloe’s name and meets his daughter for the first time.
Irene, thinking she’s assisting, offers Matthew one of Chloe’s cards, complete with all of her contact information, and he’s now more motivated than ever to meet.
Mia, on the other hand, has a card to play: she claims she didn’t give her permission the night Chloe was born. If Matthew tries to put a barrier between her and her daughter, she’ll make sure everyone is aware of the reality.
When Theo harasses Mia and Ari about Chloe and then shows up on her doorstep, she finds herself entangled in yet another struggle between the two young men.
