What’s next in Summer Bay?
Coming up on Home and Away, Justin falls victim to an audacious theft. Elsewhere, Eden drops a baby bombshell on Cash, and Remi’s patience with Sonny is starting to wear very thin.
Here’s a full collection of 12 big moments to come.
1. Tane is hurting for Mac
Lacey is keen to give Tane an update on how the gym is doing, but he’s distracted by Mackenzie’s recent miscarriage.
At first, Lacey thinks Tane is being rude and ungrateful, but she regrets being so judgemental when she learns of the sad news.
Jo tries to comfort Tane but he subsequently turns her down, insisting that what they had together is over.
2. Mac needs space
Over at the hospital, Mac is struggling to process the enormity of her loss and refuses to accept any visitors.
The hurt only deepens when she returns home and is confronted by reminders of her pregnancy everywhere.
Tane and Abigail agree that it would be best to give Mac and Levi space to grieve, so they move into Cash and Eden’s for the time being.
3. There’s another theft in Summer Bay
Richie is hot on the case of the recent robberies as he scours online marketplaces looking for the stolen items. When Abigail swings by the station, Richie offers his support over Mac.
David witnesses Richie’s caring side and invites him to dinner, where Lacey and Jo share embarrassing stories about their dad’s past.
The next day, David receives a report regarding a break-in at the Surf Club, and Lacey arrives at the gym to realise that there’s an intruder inside…
4. Sonny becomes prime suspect
Lacey rushes to alert David, and they arrive back at the gym to find Sonny doing a secret workout.
David suspects foul play and takes Sonny to the station for questioning. Remi arrives to sort things out, insisting that Sonny isn’t a thief but has merely been overdoing it with exercising.
Sonny is released, and promises not to return to the gym that day. But it’s not long before he goes back on his word, where he is caught out by Remi and John.
5. Mali is also grieving
News of Mac’s miscarriage reaches Mali, who is heartbroken for his friend.
After taking his mood out on Lacey, Mali opens up to Justin and reveals a sketch of a mural that he planned for the baby’s nursery.
Justin encourages Mali to confide in Lacey, with the hope that it will heal their rift.
6. Remi can’t trust Sonny
John is sympathetic to Sonny’s rehab mission and allows him back to the gym, much to Remi’s annoyance.
He knows that Sonny is incapable of sticking to a sensible workout plan, no matter how much he fools John and Dana.
Alarm bells are ringing for Dana when she hears about the string of robberies in Summer Bay. She tries to push Alf to invest in personal alarms at the Surf Club, but gets a gruff response.
7. Mac sees her baby girl
Mac’s spirits are lifted by a visit from Mali and she decides that it’s time to tell her mum about the miscarriage.
That night, Mac experiences a vivid night terror and reveals to Levi that she saw a vision of their baby girl.
Mac fears the miscarriage was karma for their affair, but Levi insists that it was a terrible tragedy where nobody is to blame.
8. Eden stuns Cash
Eden drops a bombshell on Harper when she admits that Mac’s miscarriage has made her have second thoughts about having a baby of her own.
Later, Eden breaks the news to Cash, who is taken aback by his wife’s sudden change of heart.
Eden wants to discuss things further, but Cash insists that there’s no point if she won’t change her mind.
9. Justin is robbed
Justin responds to a call from a client who’s dropped a pin on a deserted road with no reception.
When Justin arrives at the scene, he can’t see any vehicle, but someone is lurking in the bushes watching.
With Justin’s back turned, a hooded figure climbs inside his van and drives off. Justin tries to give chase, but it’s too late – he’s been robbed!
10. Alf and Dana join forces
Alf apologises to Dana for his earlier outburst and she offers him one in return, explaining how she’s shaken by the recent robberies.
Alf admits that he feels the same way, with his faith in the local community being put to the test.
Having made up, Alf and Dana agree to work together to make the Surf Club a safer place to be.
11. Cash respects Eden’s decision
Eden’s desperate to talk about the reasons she doesn’t want kids, but Cash can’t face the conversation and heads out to work.
When he returns later, Cash admits to Eden that he’s naturally disappointed, but respects that it’s her body and her decision.
The couple are reconciled, but it’s clear that Cash doesn’t know what the future holds for their marriage.
12. Alf takes action
Justin runs alone on the road until Alf drives by in his red Ute and picks him up. Alf takes Justin straight to the police station, where he makes a full report on the robbery of his van.
David assures Justin that they’ll find the culprit, but Justin feels humiliated that he fell into a trap.
Alf is angry on his friend’s behalf and calls a meeting on how the residents of Summer Bay can tackle these crimes. But just who is targeting them?
