Kate Ritchie and her daughter Mae recently received a new addition to their household in the form of a dog.
As the school vacations continue, the three of them spent some quality time together on Thursday at the beach.
The 43-year-old former Home and Away actor tweeted a photo of her seven-year-old daughter reading a book on a beach blanket next to their dog.
‘My gosh, I’ve missed days like this,’ she said in the post.
The Nova radio personality’s tweet comes after she recently shared a photo of herself and the puppy swimming in her backyard pool for the first time.
‘It was a wonderful, bright Sunday,’ the former actress said beside a selfie on Instagram.
Kate can be seen in the shot cuddling up to her favourite dog, beaming from ear to ear.
For the shot, she wore expensive sunglasses and flaunted her natural complexion.
Kate has been spending a lot of time with Mae while Sydney is under COVID confinement.
The radio personality from Nova FM just taught her daughter to ride a bike.
Mae broke down in tears while practising the right of passage, according to Kate, who posted a photo to Instagram.
Kate is seen in the photo holding her baby and kissing her while she is crying.
‘This reaction has something to do with her learning to ride a bicycle… She captioned the photo, “Not Mumma’s kisses… Promise.”
Kate has an estranged husband, Stuart Webb, who is a retired NRL player.
She is said to have moved out of their marital home in Randwick in late 2019 after police issued an interim AVO on her behalf against Stuart following an altercation there.
