In the upcoming episode of Neighbours in the UK, Corey attempts to influence Harlow in an attempt to enlist her in the Restoration Order. Will Harlow ever see Ramsay Street again as they depart on their journey?
These scenes will premiere in the United Kingdom on Monday, May 16th, and in Australia on Tuesday, June 14th.
Corey (Laurence Boxhall) and Harlow (Jemma Donovan) originally met in London, where Harlow was visiting her aunt Harriet (Amanda Holden). Harriet was on her way to fetch Prue’s (Denise Van Outen) diary to pass it over to The Order, but Corey persuaded Harlow to burn it instead, claiming that doing so would stop the hidden cult’s infatuation with it.
In actuality, Corey is a member of The Order, and he was aware that the diary contained a crucial USB stick that would not be burned in the fire. He subsequently returned to retrieve it from the ashes and was taken aback when he realised what was inside.
He soon appeared in Erinsborough, claiming that he was so captivated with Harlow that he needed to pay her another visit. The two had a brief romance, but Harlow quickly realised she was still focused on Ned (Ben Hall) and ended it.
In actuality, Corey is being held captive by Christabel Bancroft (Zyd Zygier), a member of The Order who has told him he must bring Harlow in. Harlow’s breakup threw a wrench in the works, forcing him to push even harder to get closer to her.
An anonymous stranger – possibly Corey — vandalised Amy’s (Jacinta Stapleton) Drinks Diva truck in recent episodes, making it appear as if Harlow was to blame. He also intimated to Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) that Harlow was aware of Paul’s efforts to disrupt Fashion Week, further dividing Terese and her step-granddaughter.
Corey steers Harlow away from her family this week (UK: Wednesday 11th May / Aus: Monday 13th June) as she tries to reconnect with them after Ned’s departure.
Then, the next week (UK: Monday, May 16th / Aus: Tuesday, June 14th), it appears that something is wrong with Harlow. She’s sluggish and disoriented, but she has no idea that Corey has been drugging her behind her back.
Worse, Harlow has no one to turn to because of his efforts to alienate her from her loved ones.
Harlow has no idea that he’s anything but the perfect gentleman because his manipulation is working flawlessly.
However, David (Takaya Honda) begins to believe something is wrong and begins to snoop.
Corey begins to turn Harlow against her uncle, fearful that the doctor is on to him. Harlow grows increasingly estranged from her friends and family as a result of the drugs he gives her.
Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) is also investigating how Ned and Harlow’s projection wound up on Harlow’s garment during Fashion Week. It was initially blamed on Harlow’s envious Lassiters colleagues, who were enraged that Harlow was being treated differently yet again. Is Chloe, on the other hand, starting to suspect that someone else is to blame?
Knowing he’s about to be discovered, Corey accelerates his plan and whisks Harlow away for the weekend.
She has no idea that she may never see her family again as they depart Ramsay Street…
