The first trailer for a new comedy starring stars from Home and Away and New Girl has just been released.
Former Australian soap actress Samara Weaving, New Girl’s Max Greenfield, and Dora and the Lost City of Gold’s Eugenio Derbez all star in the remake of the French film The Valet.
Weaving’s persona Olivia is a well-known actress who is having an affair with Vincent Royce, an attractive businessman who is married as well (Greenfield). Olivia enlists her parking valet Antonio, who is also photographed in the shot, to masquerade as her new lover to cover her tracks after a paparazzi snaps them together.
Hardworking Antonio’s tranquil life is turned upside down when he is thrown into the world of the wealthy and famous, where he and Olivia both begin to understand themselves more clearly than they have in the past.
Ravi Patel (Wonder Woman 1984), Marisol Nichols (Riverdale), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), and Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break) are among the supporting cast members.
Weaving had to drop out of a new action-fantasy film, Boy Kills World, barely days after joining the project earlier this year.
The actress, who was slated to reconnect with her Snake Eyes co-star Andrew Koji on the project, will be replaced by Jessica Rothe from Happy Death Day, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Weaving had to leave the film because to scheduling issues, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“One-of-a-kind action spectacular set in a dystopian fever-dream environment,” according to Boy Kills World, which also stars Bill Skarsgrd and Yayan Ruhian.
