Even though Sam Frost’s days on Home and Away are behind her, she hasn’t stopped posting humorous throwback videos from her time on the show.
The 32-year-old actress who portrayed Jasmine Delaney shared a never-before-seen blooper video of a scene with former co-stars Ditch Davey and Penny McNamee on Instagram.
In the outtake, Sam’s character is standing on the beach with Penny and Ditch’s characters, Tori and Christian, when she takes a severe fall on a sandbank, causing Ditch, the crew, and Sam to burst out laughing.
“Looking through my camera roll for H&A footage, I stumbled across this gem.. such an idiot 🤦🏼♀️, the world’s clumsiest person! Also, @ditchdaveyofficial’s reaction is hilarious 😂. I miss joking with the guys, it’s so much fun “The video was captioned by Sam.
“One of my all time fav moments, from one of my all time fav folks!” Ditch remembered about the amusing video.
“Hahahah this is the finest ever!!!” wrote Bonnie Anderson, a former star of Neighbours. “I’ve already seen five times through and it just keeps getting funny,” Rove McManus said of the blooper.
Sam’s fondness for the cast and crew of Home and Away stems from a meeting with former co-star Lynne McGranger on Tuesday.
After unexpectedly running into Sam, Lynne, who plays Irene Roberts, tweeted a sweet selfie of herself and the 32-year-old.
“When you’re out for a cheeky walk between scenes and happen to run into a stunning pal. It’s great to see you again, @fro01 🥰💖👏🏼💞😘, “Lynne added a caption to the photo.
Sam, who was equally pleased to see an old coworker, was quick to leave a remark on the post, writing: “What a lovely surprise!!! ❤️ You’ve brightened my day! xxxxx”
Sam’s exit from Home and Away in January came two months after she received controversy for expressing her views on the COVID vaccine in an Instagram video that has since been deleted.
“I was really worried about shooting a video or even speaking up about this sort of issue,” Sam said in the video. “But I feel like the world is coming to a place today where there’s a lot of segregation.”
Following the reaction, Sam revealed she would be taking a break from Home & Away for a procedure, stating that she wouldn’t be completely immunised until mid- to late-February.
Channel Seven revealed a month later that the actress had decided to depart the soap permanently. Her departure is not thought to be tied to the network’s vaccine policy.
“To take care of my mental health, I left my dream job on Home and Away. I needed to take a breather, return home, and spend time with my family “This month, Sam revealed.
During an interview with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa, Lynne said that she will always have a place to return.
“She spoke to me, and let me just say that the door isn’t shut, it’s wide open. Sam had to be with her family, who are currently in Melbourne “Lynne remarked.
