David (Takaya Honda) believed he had his strange stalker under control, but things have taken a turn for the worst in Neighbours. He was enjoying in the glow of being a new father one minute, and the next he’s being taken for ransom for allowing a guy to die.
After finding a message that said, “I know what you did,” and then another that threatened his family, David is now in a race against time to figure out who is behind them. Given the current state of affairs, he may have no choice but to give in to their demands before the truth comes out and he finds himself in even more severe difficulties.
With his stress levels growing, he is obliged to reveal everything to Aaron (Matt Wilson) about everything from Gareth to the present, sending Aaron into a spiral. How could David have kept such a dreadful secret hidden from him for so long? He seeks answers from Freya (Phoebe Roberts), believing she is the one who lured his husband astray. And, let’s be honest, he’s not entirely wrong. David is beside himself; Aaron will never look at him the same way again after this.
When Aaron returns to a worried David, he convinces him that he doesn’t see him any differently, and that now, more than ever, they need to stick together.
However, the ransom deadline is approaching, and Aaron, David, and Freya will be unable to satisfy the demands. They get desperate and consider selling everything of worth they own, including their most sentimental possession. Freya, though, pulls out a trump card as the clock strikes eleven o’clock. They don’t want to do it, but they don’t have any other options. Will this be enough to spare their necks? Or are you going to make things worse for them?
Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, April 11th.
