The following contains spoilers for Wednesday’s (November 29) episode of Neighbours, which is currently streaming on Amazon Freevee.
A number of Ramsay Street characters, including Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), were shocked to learn of a tragic death that occurred during the most recent episode of the popular soap opera.
Tragically, Conrad Sinclair, a Lassiters investor and the father of Reece (Mischa Barton) and Krista (Majella Davis), passed away.
As fans are aware, Reece was a pillar of the show’s resurrection series, and viewers could tell she was up to no good. Paul assumed she was going to spy for her father, but her true objective was to find her sister Krista, who had vanished from sight.
After tracking her sister’s whereabouts with the aid of her lover Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux), she received the devastating news that Krista had passed away, with Melanie Pearson (Lucinda Cowden) blaming her.
But a shocking turn of events proved Krista is alive after all. Such news devastated Reece, so she made the decision to return home and inform her father—who thought Krista had passed away—of her whereabouts.
Reece had power of attorney, thus she needed to remain in the US in case the worst happened when Conrad had a stroke.
But even though they were holding out hope, disaster struck on Wednesday’s episode of the serial drama when Reece called Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) to let her know that Conrad had passed away.
Paul and Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) were taken aback, but Chloe begged them to hold off on revealing Conrad’s death for the time being, understanding that Krista, who is suffering through withdrawals, wouldn’t be in the appropriate state of mind to learn of such news at this point.
But Holly Hoyland (Lucinda Armstrong Hall) didn’t know about it until she saw the news online and went to Lassiters to give Krista her support.
After hearing of her father’s passing, Krista left quickly, leaving her neighbours deeply concerned for her safety. Is she going to be located before it’s too late?
