Seeing double! Every actor who’s been on both Home and Away and Neighbours

Home and Away and Neighbours, two iconic Australian soaps, have long been a breeding ground for great talent, with Kylie Minogue, Chris Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas, and Melissa George all beginning their careers on one of these series.

However, several Australian performers have managed to appear in both Neighbours’ Erinsborough and Home and Away’s Summer Bay throughout the years.

These classic Australian soap operas, which have hosted everyone from Jodi Gordon to Guy Pearce, appear to be a rite of passage for some of the country’s most famous performers. Continue scrolling to see which actors have landed parts on both Home and Away and Neighbours.

Harley Bonner

From 2013 until 2016, Harley Bonner played Josh Willis on Neighbours, the sitcom that made his mother Carla Bonner famous. Fans cheered when it was revealed in 2021 that the actor would be joining Home and Away.

JR Reyne

Johnny Ruffo

When Johnny Ruffo made his film debut as Chris Harrington in 2013, he quickly established himself as Summer Bay’s resident loveable larrikin. Three years later, he said his farewell to the Bay, but not to television in general…

Johnny will appear as a guest star on Neighbours in June 2020, according to Ten. He stated of recording his parts at the time, “You can’t fool about.” “[Neighbours and Home and Away] are basically Australian royalty. It was a once-in-a-lifetime chance, and I now feel myself fortunate to have been invited to both exhibits.”
