Samara Weaving reveals what it was like working with Nicole Kidman on Nine Perfect Strangers and the one moment that made her ‘jaw hit the ground’

Samara Weaving, who starred in Home and Away, has opened out about working on Nine Perfect Strangers alongside famous actress Nicole Kidman.

Samara, 29, remembered meeting the Oscar winner on set in an Amazon Prime Video Q&A with fans.

Director Jonathan Levine welcomed all of the cast members for their first scene at Tranquillum House in Byron Bay.

When Samara first saw the Hollywood beauty, she stated her ‘jaw struck the ground.’

Samara remembered, ‘I didn’t have to act because my jaw touched the ground and she floated.’

‘It was incredible – it was fantastic of the director to do that.’

Her sequences with The Hours star, according to the 29-year-old, were “emotional.”

‘I performed some very difficult sequences with Nicole, like weeping in front of her and then being like, ‘OK, well, now you’re buddies,” she explained.

In the series, Samara plays Jessica Chandler, a social media influencer who is preoccupied with her beauty.

She recently acknowledged to using false teeth for the part in order to make her lips appear larger.

‘When we performed the camera tests on the first day of filming, I had a lot of false tan and extremely long nails,’ she told Digital Spy.

‘I had wire pushing my face up and false teeth to give me that face lift appearance,’ she explained.

In the popular series, Nicole portrays Masha, a resort director.
