When you find The One, the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, you know you’ve met someone who will be there for you through good times and bad.
That’s surely what Johnny Ruffo has found in girlfriend Tahnee Sims, who he met on the set of Home And Away.
Tahnee has supported Jonny during his two fights with brain cancer, the most recent of which he is now undergoing.
After meeting at a dancing studio in 2015, the pair began dating and have been together ever since.
The 27-year-old was present when Johnny was diagnosed with brain cancer, and the former X Factor contestant thanks Tahnee with assisting him through his ordeal.
“I might not be here if it weren’t for her,” he told Now To Love.
“When the headaches initially started, she was the one who forced me to get in the vehicle and go to the hospital. She’s also motivating me to try new things. She motivates me to exercise by encouraging me to go for runs and swims.”
In May 2019, Johnny announced that he was cancer-free, but that didn’t stop him from gushing about his partner, and he even divulged the key to their happiness: laughing.
“We’re simply having a good time. We have a lot of fun making each other laugh. You know that gut-wrenching chuckle that makes your eyes well up with tears? “The X Factor contestant elaborated.
“We quarrel and argue like any other relationship, but we also make up. You know how we kiss and put on makeup?”
He continued by saying that their relationship has never been stronger, especially after everything they’ve been through.
“We’ve already been through a lot together. The stronger our relationship becomes the longer we stay together.”

Tahnee arranged a weekend of surprises for Johnny’s 33rd birthday, and the pair dressed up to the nines.
