Next week, on UK screens, Tane Parata of Home and Away will experience another difficult encounter with his estranged wife Felicity.
Tane is furious when Felicity questions him about his sexual history because she is sceptical of his friendship with Harper Matheson, a newcomer to Summer Bay.
The information that Tane has been sleeping with other women since their breakup has been difficult for Felicity to handle.
Felicity experiences yet another setback the next week when she learns that Tane has chosen to give up the Parata house after moving out after the breakup.
This implies that unless Felicity and her brother Cash decide to purchase the land themselves, they will be forced to leave. Felicity is upset because Tane decided to take this action without informing them.
Cash is informed by Felicity that she begged Tane for another opportunity just a few days prior, and she wasn’t prepared for his firm response.
Ultimately, Felicity expresses to Cash her desire to remain at the house. An upbeat Felicity won’t leave the property while there’s still a chance that Tane might return home, still hoping for a reconciliation with him.
Tane receives a box containing priceless objects from Felicity later in the week that he had left at the residence.
As Tane goes through old family photos and describes the Korowai, a traditional Māori garment, Harper, his new friend, joins him.
Seeing the two of them getting along, Felicity becomes envious and confronts Harper, telling her to keep her distance from her husband. Tane is compelled to intervene in order to break them up after Harper retaliates.
Felicity demands to know whether Harper is one of the girls Tane has been sleeping with as he walks her home.
Tane becomes irritated by this and gives Felicity a clear warning that she has no right to ask him such intimate questions. Will Felicity ultimately give up hope for their future as Tane begs her to realise that he is no longer her husband?
