Felicity Newman from Home and Away will confront her assailant in dramatic circumstances the following week.
Felicity recently found out that Jeremy, her assailant, has consented to see her as part of the Restorative Justice scheme, which tries to provide some closure to their victims. She was on the fence about meeting him, but in the end she made the decision.
Felicity is visibly afraid during the moments, yet she is adamant on speaking her mind.
Regretfully, Jeremy shows no curiosity in hearing her out and begins to agitate her by sidestepping her enquiries. After becoming irate and storming out of the room, she ultimately decides to continue on her own with some support from Eden, who was also in the room.
Once back in the room, Felicity questions Jeremy to the point of humiliation and finds the closure she was seeking.
Tane Parata is irritated that Felicity followed through without telling him after the meeting, even though she is feeling relieved. Eden tries to convince Tane of Felicity’s bravery later on, but Felicity has to reassure him that it’s not about him.
Afterwards, she informs him that she didn’t need his extra voice telling her no because she knew he would attempt to talk her out of it, given that she nearly didn’t follow through on her own.
Tane, happily, is prepared to make apologies the following day. However, there’s a catch: he wants to work as a team in their marriage going forwards.
