On Tuesday, Felicity Newman of Home and Away encountered a challenging scenario on Australian television when Mackenzie Booth came to know that she was deceiving her spouse Tane Parata.
Although Felicity has informed Tane that she is prepared to try for a child with him, she has been secretly taking her contraceptive pills.
Tane, who is desperate for a family, and Felicity, who isn’t sure whether she wants a family at this point in her life, seem to be on opposite courses in their relationship in Summer Bay.
After taking a vacation to visit her brother Dean Thompson in Far North Queensland, Mackenzie returned to work at Salt in the Channel 7 episode that aired on Tuesday.
Tane made the decision to inform Mac of his and Felicity’s plan to begin a family as Mac gathered up on all that had transpired while she was away.
Tane was obviously ecstatic to hear the news, but Mac saw Felicity was more uncertain.
Mac understood everything when she entered Salt’s storage room and saw Felicity’s secret cache of medications.
Mac couldn’t understand why Felicity wasn’t being truthful with Tane, even though she supported Felicity’s right to take charge of her own destiny.
Felicity objected that she was only postponing things till she felt ready to become pregnant in response to demands for an explanation.
Felicity declared, “We’ll give it a shot. The purpose of the medication is to buy me a little more time. temporarily as I adjust to being a mother.”
Mac said it might never occur, to which Felicity retorted, “I’m going to get there. He just believes that starting a family is too crucial, therefore I have to.”
After Mac would not give up and insisted that Felicity stop lying, Felicity eventually informed her husband they needed to talk. Will she tell him the truth at last?
Following the show’s Christmas break, fans of Home and Away in the UK will be able to watch these scenes on Channel 5 early in the new year.
