The mystery Andrew Lawrence plot continues next week as Home and Away debuts a brutal new character on UK television.
A lady who claims to be from Andrew’s past confronts him when Theo Poulos issues a social media request for information.
As she enters the neighbourhood police station, the woman identifies herself as Esther Lawrence, Andrew’s mother.
Since his father Archie, who had ties to a cult, abducted him as a young child, ‘Esther’ claims she has been looking for Andrew for a number of years.
The meeting between Andrew and his mother was arranged by Cash Newman and Justin Morgan, but the adolescent ended up storming off because he was too overwhelmed.
Leah Patterson spends some time listening to ‘Esther’ as she talks about her alleged lengthy search for her lost son before Justin jumps in to give Andrew some advice about getting back in touch with his mother.
Andrew unwillingly admits to Justin and Leah that he wants to move in with his mother since he feels bad for rejecting “Esther” in the first place.
With respect for this choice, the pair bids Andrew farewell.
Later in the week, Cash appreciates the break from a hectic period at work after becoming worn out by the Andrew case.
Due to the fact that his sister Felicity is away in the city, the policeman and his lover Eden Fowler enjoy some alone time.
When Cash ultimately makes it back to the office, he is in for a terrible surprise when the task force looking into Andrew’s case provides a worrying update.
The people Cash’s coworkers sent Andrew home with were not his mother, they said.
Margot, the head of the evil sect that has already done so much harm to Andrew during his upbringing, was the person in question.
Can Cash make atonement for not thoroughly investigating Margot’s story and return Andrew to the Bay safely as he sincerely regrets not doing so?
