Matt Evans of Home and Away has revealed a secret message about Theo Poulos’ latest singing scene.
The star has been demonstrating his singing and guitar skills in recent episodes. Last week, Australian viewers witnessed Theo demonstrate his talent by serenading Chloe Anderson with a guitar he took from Justin Morgan in an attempt to win her over.
This week, Theo showed off his talent in a duet with Justin.
In a beautiful Instagram post, Evans explained that this sequence was actually a tribute to his real-life father.
He wrote, “I’ve been so happy to share this for a long time.” “Mother and father… This one is dedicated to you.
“I know this is your favourite song, so I treated it as a father-son moment to express my gratitude.
“Thank you both for always believing in me and allowing me to pursue my aspirations, even when they veered off into acting.”
Evans went on to note his current award nomination in his caption. He was nominated for a Logie Award for his role as Theo in the Most Popular New Talent category earlier this week.
“Now I’ve been nominated for a logie!?! I’m extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful and supportive family “he stated. “Thank you for your brilliance, @ jamesstewart__. PS. In my bio, you can vote for me in the’most popular new talent’ logie.”
Of course, some Home and Away fans won’t be surprised by Theo’s singing ability given that, before to joining the programme, Evans was better known in Australia as a musician after appearing on The Voice Australia in 2020.
Before making his acting debut on the popular serial opera, he made it to the top 20 of Delta Goodrem’s team.
