Home and Away Spoilers – Who’s framing Felicity?

As the investigation into the gas attack continues this week on Home and Away in Australia, more evidence appears to point to Felicity as the perpetrator. Is she a victim of a set-up?

All indications have pointed to Felicity since the horrific gas attack at Martha’s charity gala, which left many Summer Bay favourites hospitalised (Jacqui Purvis).

She seemed to be the only one with a motive, as the attack looked to be directed at Tane (Ethan Browne), who had accused her of following him for weeks. What’s more, she had only said a few hours before that the Parata brother will receive what he deserved!

She devised a strategy to clear her name last week. The two concocted an alibi for Felicity with the assistance of Anne (Megan Smart), a club colleague. They agreed that they’d spent the entire day and evening making cookies (or were they brownies?) together at Anne’s house.

It was hoped that having a strong alibi would be enough to get her off the hook. She also persuaded Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) to join her cause; while her brother first questioned her, he realised there was no way she would put his life, as well as the lives of half of the Bay, in jeopardy.

This week, though, she’s having trouble keeping her calm as more of Summer Bay turns against her.

Felicity, according to Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo), is to fault. It was clear that she was the only one who had a problem with his uncle. When he and Bella (Courtney Miller) pay a visit to Tane in the hospital, a nurse is giving him a box of red flowers, he’s even more sure.

He becomes enraged, believing Felicity sent them as a nasty prank.

“They’re roses, Bella.” Roses in red! She’s playing a cruel prank on our family, and it’s ruining everything.”

He launches an internet campaign against her soon after, and it doesn’t take long for it to go widespread.

Bella, on the other hand, is frightened that it will get him in trouble, and she asks him what would happen if the police charge him with harassment. He doesn’t seem to mind, however, and assures his girlfriend that Felicity will “pay for what she’s done.”

Thousands of online users believe Flick was behind the assault, so she goes to the caravan park to discover the words “TOXIC FELICITY” scrawled across her vehicle in green paint.

“Felicity is feeling pressured, alone, and anxious,” Jacqui tells TV Week about the new development. She has the impression that the entire world is against her. But, like Felicity, she’s remaining strong and attempting to get through this difficult period with grit.”

While Cash and Jasmine (Sam Frost) remain on her side, her best buddy appears to be turning against her. She goes to the Yabbie Creek Police Station to report the green graffiti, just in time to watch Anne leave, having admitted that she was with Felicity when the attack occurred, according to TV Week.

Is there any way she can avoid going to prison now that her lone alibi has been compromised?

Furthermore, things are about to get a lot worse when Detective Nasser (Julian Maroun) arrives at the caravan park with a group of cops.

While Cash may have burned the organophosphate receipt, the only piece of evidence tying Felicity to the assault, the police’ forensic examination of Flick’s caravan unearths something much more damning: a bottle of the sedatives used to put Tane unconscious!

Even Cash has to concede that the relationship between his sister and Tane is becoming more difficult to ignore as Felicity is thrown into the back of a police car and taken away.

“Cash wants to believe Flick when she thinks she’s been set up,” Nicholas said of the new plot in an interview with TV Week. “However, there are just too many red flags for him to fully support her.”

Then, on Nikau’s online campaign website, someone mentions the pesticide receipt that was discovered in her trailer and later burned by Cash. Is the assailant someone closer than she ever imagined conceivable, given that only she and Cash were aware of it?

Thankfully, Felicity appears to be close to figuring out the attacker’s true identity. Felicity seeks consolation with someone in her caravan in a trailer for the current narrative, before piecing together the puzzle and realises the attacker is there in front of her.

“You were the one who did it.” It was you the whole time!”

Who is she conversing with?
