Who will be holding the bomb when it explodes on Home and Away in the UK the next week when our Summer Bay favourites play pass the parcel with a bomb?
The conflict between Marilyn (Emily Symons) and the subpar skincare firm Stunning Organics is about to reach an explosive conclusion, and their ultimate retaliation will put many lives in jeopardy over the course of the following week.
When the business agreed to let her out of her contract, Marilyn was offered the opportunity to stop, but she carried on with her campaign in the aim of obtaining justice for all of the other brand ambassadors out there.
A brick through Irene’s glass, a threatening voicemail, and secret images taken of Marilyn and Roo (Georgie Parker) all indicated that Stunning Organics was serious about trying to intimidate Marilyn into quiet.
But Marilyn refused to back down and told her story to the media, defying friends’ requests and police instructions to quit stirring up trouble.
Because the police were powerless to intervene because there was no concrete proof that the threats were coming from the business, Marilyn and Kirby (Angelina Thomson) posted a new video to social media in which they criticised the CEO’s odd absence.
Marilyn claimed, “Stunning Organics are sending me threats because I dare to speak the truth. “Your brand advocates are treated like scum, and your products seriously damage consumers. Therefore, Mr. CEO, you are a bully and a coward wherever you are hiding. You must come out and confront us.
She concluded, “Stunning Organics, you won’t scare me away.” There is nothing you can do to stop me from bringing your firm down.
The two were perplexed when, later that day at the café, Kirby accepted another Stunning Organics delivery for Marilyn despite the fact that the boxes had stopped being delivered weeks earlier.
Kirby left the package in the kitchen of the cafe for Marilyn to retrieve later, thinking it was either an error or the business playing a practical joke on her. ignorant that there was an explosive device inside, ready to go off!
Next week, it just so happens that numerous residents pass by the box while playing the lethal delivery version of Pass the Parcel.
Irene struggles with the box as she calls Marilyn to come remove it since she is tired of it being displayed in the diner’s kitchen. She begs Xander (Luke Van Os) to place it right next to the counter after he graciously takes it off her hands.
However, Marilyn is occupied organising additional interviews, so when Leah (Ada Nicodemou) later nearly trips over the box, she offers to take it home with her.
Who needs a fruit bowl when the box is prominently placed on the coffee table in the living room? It stays there all night as Leah and Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) consider what to do with a missing Justin (James Stewart).
Irene is displeased when Marilyn returns the box from its overnight stay at Leah’s and discovers it back on the diner counter.
Marilyn can get rid of the box and all the others left at the Beach House thanks to John (Shane Withington), who is clearing out the surf club and hiring a van for a tip run.
The box remains on John’s desk at the bustling surf club for the following two days, during which time we witness an unidentified figure becoming increasingly enraged as they obsessively watch Marilyn’s movie.
Marilyn receives a further threatening text message from the man demanding that she recant her claims against the business within 24 hours. When Marilyn shows Roo (Georgie Parker) the message, Roo makes the decision to continue Marilyn’s act of defiance by promptly replying with a message expressing that she isn’t afraid of them.
Marilyn gets a mysterious message the following morning warning her it’s too late. The device is turned on with a one-hour countdown at the same moment that a phone within the box silently rings!
As the seconds pass, John and Roo find themselves in the firing line as Roo uses a lift to transport some of her own trash to the landfill.
Marilyn is still perplexed by the first message when a second one arrives with the caption “BOOM” and a photo of exactly what is in the package. When Marilyn understands that they have had a bomb in their possession for a long time, her face starts to bleed.
Marilyn goes over to the surf club and tells Irene to call the police, but Mali (Kyle Shilling) tells her that John has already departed.
Mali rushes out in his van to pursue Roo and John as a panicked Marilyn recounts what is happening while Marilyn keeps calling them.
As the seconds pass, Mali finally comes up to the van and signals John to stop while screaming at the two people inside to get out.
Mali races to the vehicle, but as he gets close, it suddenly bursts into a massive fireball, sending him flying.
Will the hero Mali be okay? Did Roo and John escape in time?
