Stunning Organics issues a warning to Marilyn. Cash and Justin confront Andew and Lyrik about their financial difficulties, and as a result, they learn a terrible reality.
This week’s episode of Home and Away features plenty of drama as Marilyn receives a warning from Stunning Organics and reveals to Kirby a well-kept secret about their goods.
Marilyn is concerned about the legal threats made by Stunning Organics against Kirby, but Kirby is unflappable; this response demonstrates how alarmed Stunning’s legal team is.
Marilyn, however, expresses her deep remorse over her debt to the massive cosmetic company and displays to Kirby the stockpile of goods she’s been hiding at Irene’s when she receives a threat.
When Kirby and Marilyn receive legal documents from Stunning Organics, they are both shocked, but Kirby has an idea to enlist others in their struggle.
Later, Kirby and Marilyn search for more Stunning Organics victims in an effort to build their case against the cosmetics industry giant by starting an online forum for survivors.
However, when their search does not quickly produce any results, Marilyn changes her mind and tells Kirby that she is withdrawing.
Marilyn can’t help but feel encouraged when Kirby later informs her that a victim has come forward, but she keeps her joy a secret from an untrusting Alf.
Alf questions Marilyn about her recent actions, but Marilyn denies it while Stunning Organics delivers yet another shipment that was not ordered.
She is compelled to disclose her abuse by the shady store and the ongoing litigation against her and Kirby when Alf finds her stockpile of unsold cosmetics.
When Alf learns how much Marilyn has been hiding, he is shocked, but she is moved when he subsequently offers his support.
When Justin and Cash confront Andrew with a picture of Archie Lawrence at Summer Bay, a startling fact is revealed.
If the Andrew case has made any progress, Justin wants to know. A neighbour has come forward, according to cash. Although she has never seen Andrew, she is adamant that there was once an elderly man who lived there by himself. Cash recognises the guy as Andrew Lawrence using the neighbor’s description.
The issue is that he passed away three weeks ago. Justin gets ready to inform Andrew that his lone link to the outside world has passed away.
When Justin and Cash present Andrew with the portrait of Archie Lawrence, Andrew admits that Archie is his father.
When Justin informs Andrew about Archie’s passing, he wonders what will become of him.
Justin is surprised to learn that Andrew was reported missing at the age of four when he was kidnapped by his father, and nobody has seen or heard of him since. Justin is working with Cash to pursue any new leads in the case.
Summer Bay residents group Lyrik is having financial issues, thus there are also financial concerns there.
Eden is given the duty of helping Lyrik raise money because they need at least $12,000 to record an album in a studio.
Remi tells Bree he’s committed to make this music so he can spend more time at home with her when Bree interrupts their brainstorming session and leaves Eden to spend time with his girlfriend.
They’re in a terrific place, and her counselling sessions have also been really beneficial.
Later, when discussing the best way to raise money for the album, Remi and Eden argue. Remi becomes defensive when Eden recommends asking his parents for money; she is aware of why he won’t do that.
Eden and Remi are still at odds over how to pay for Lyrik’s CD.
Eden eventually agrees that Remi shouldn’t need to beg his “loaded” parents for money because he is determined about not doing so.
Inspired by Kahu’s blatant promotion, Cash throws the band a lifeline by promising to invest a portion of his inheritance in their album so that the money will go to a cause he is passionate about.
Remi is ecstatic, but Eden puts a wrench in the plan because she isn’t willing to accept her boyfriend’s generosity!
