Home and Away has six 2022 Logie Award nominations, whereas Neighbours has none.
Fans of the Ramsay Street soap may be dismayed at the snub, as the beloved show prepares to end in August.
Home and Away received six nominations, including Most Popular Drama.
Ray Meagher, who plays Alf Stewart, has been nominated for a Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Australian TV Personality.
Ada Nicodemou (Leah Patterson) and Sophie Dillman (Ziggy Astoni) also garnered nominations for Silver Logie – Most Popular Actress.
Matt Evans, who debuted as Theo Poulos late last year, is a Graham Kennedy Award nominee.
Neighbours airs on Australia’s 10 Peach and is typically missed at the Logies. Natalie Blair won its last Logies in 2005.
Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue will reprise their roles as Scott and Charlene in the show’s final episodes.
The soap’s final cast portrait honoured the “Class of 2022.”
Ramsay Street ended its 37-year run this year when Channel 5 dropped it and it couldn’t secure fresh sponsorship.
Fremantle noted at the time, “With sadness, we confirm that Neighbours will end production this summer after 37 years and 9,000 episodes.”
