Kirsty Marillier has been recruited as Rose, a new season regular on Home and Away.
In the year 2022, Rose will arrive in Summer Bay.
Kirsty is a South African actor and playwright based in Sydney and Melbourne.
Kirsty is now a member of Sydney Theatre Company’s Emerging Writers Group.
The Australian premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was one of her most recent acting roles.
‘I am so humbled to be welcomed as a series regular on Home and Away,’ Kirsty said after joining the cast. I remember dreaming of a sunny utopia while watching this icon-of-a-show in high school – it’s surreal to have this become my reality.
‘I hope UK audiences adore Rose as much as I do, and that in 2022, they get to know her intimately as she uncovers mysteries and embraces the bay.’
Next year, fans of Home and Away will learn more about Rose’s arrival.
Kirsty has already appeared in Home and Away, in the role of Rhea, as a guest character in 2018.
