Five months after giving birth to her baby Ted, former Bachelorette and Home and Away star Sam Frost revealed a new accomplishment with her followers.
The mother of one, who is renowned for being candid about her mental health, revealed on Instagram stories that she had been experiencing more anxiety ever since having her child, particularly before and throughout her return to training.
“First day back at the gym after I had my son. My anxiety was at its highest both before and after. Sam wrote in the caption of the selfie she took after her workout, “But I did it and I’m incredibly proud of myself.
After five years of portraying Jasmine Delaney on Home and Away, Sam Frost confirmed last year that she had left the show in order to focus on her mental health.
Sam Frost revealed her choice in an Instagram post for her mental health awareness page, Believe by Sam Frost.
“In order to take care of my mental health, I left my ideal job at Home and Away. I had to step back, go home, and spend time with my family, she said.
“For 4.5 years, I was a distant friend, a distant lover, and a distant sister who was unable to be present for significant life events. I’m making up for lost time right now. My relationships and health are my top priorities. I occasionally wake up stressed worried about my job, finances, and ability to pay my mortgage, but I quickly remind myself how important it is to prioritise our mental health and give ourselves time to heal on all levels.
After six months of dating, Sam revealed that she and Jordie Hansen were engaged in July 2022.
In September, the two made Frost’s pregnancy public.
Sam previously acknowledged how “difficult” she finds pregnancy.
She admitted to Sydney Confidential, “I found pregnancy incredibly challenging and I thought that could be a mirror on what is going to happen coming up, but to be honest I am really a little more relaxed than I imagined.
