Details of Johnny Ruffo’s memorial service are revealed after star tragically died of brain cancer

The details of Johnny Ruffo’s public funeral service on Saturday have been made public by his family.

On Monday, information about the memorial and a happy picture of Johnny in a tuxedo were shared on Facebook.

There would be a memorial service at Balcatta Senior High School on November 25, 6021, at 12:30 p.m. in Balcatta, Western Australia.

“Please don’t use cameras or film.”

Many of Johnny’s fans were quick to show their sadness when they heard about his death.

One fan wrote, “Heaven has gained another angel,” and Ruffo’s co-star from “Home and Away,” Raechelle Banno, posted a heart emoji.

The actor and singer died peacefully in a Sydney hospital with his family and his loving partner Tahnee by his side. He had been sick with brain cancer for a long time.

“It is with a heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to our beloved Johnny today,” the report said.

“Johnny passed away peacefully with the help of some amazing nurses and doctors, surrounded by his partner Tahnee and family.”

Ruffo was first told he had brain cancer in 2017 when he went to the hospital with severe headaches.

In August of that year, he was rushed to surgery and had a 7-cm brain tumour removed from his frontal lobe. He then went through chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Ruffo went into remission a few months after being diagnosed with cancer in 2017, but in November 2020, he said the disease had come back.

He told his girlfriend Tahnee in August 2022 that he was afraid she would not be able to handle life without him after he died from brain cancer.

In December 2022, Ruffo celebrated another year of treatment. He also said he was looking forwards to taking a break and spending time with his family over Christmas.

Ruffo was born in the Perth area of Balcatta. He got his start in show business when he successfully auditioned for the third season of The X Factor Australia in 2011. He later became a star on Home and Away.
