What’s next in Summer Bay?
Coming up on Home and Away, Tane remains in a critical condition as his loved ones are warned that he may not pull through.
Elsewhere, Abigail goes on the rebound with newcomer Richie, Sonny has cause for celebration, and Alf makes a foolish mistake.

Mac keeps vigil at Tane’s bedside
Tane fights for survival as new blood tests reveal that his kidney function is declining, meaning that he’s at risk of renal failure.
Mac panics when she visits Tane in hospital and Levi is forced to admit that they may lose him.
Later, a tearful Mac sits by her best friend’s bedside, willing him to survive so that he can be her child’s godfather.
2. Kerrie is finally caught
Cash updates Harper on the trace they put on Kerrie’s phone and instructs her to text her mum a photo of Archie as bait.
It works a treat and a call soon comes through from Kerrie on a burner phone.
Harper keeps her on the line long enough for the police to trace the device. With Kerrie’s coordinates determined, David calls dispatch to find and arrest her.
3. Lacey is triggered
Fearing the worst for Tane, Jo asks Lacey how she coped with Theo’s death.
The conversation is triggering for Lacey and she tells Justin that she was offended by Jo comparing Tane’s situation to Theo.
Leah also admits that she regrets that her last words to Theo were cross ones, but encourages Lacey to put her pain aside to be there for Jo.
4. Sonny keeps schtum
Sonny is eager to tell Dana about his positive physio session, but that has to wait after she receives word of Kerrie’s arrest.
Dana admits she’s glad that justice is being served, but still feels sad because it’s her mum.
She thanks Sonny for his support then dashes off for a night shift at the hospital, none the wiser about her boyfriend’s good news.
5. Remi feels betrayed by Eden
Remi is annoyed to learn that Eden has written a song about his anomic aphasia diagnosis and declares that it will never see the light of day.
Justin feels Remi is overreacting and points out that Theo always mined his personal life for creative inspiration.
Remi softens and allows Eden to play him the song. He’s so moved by the track that he later agrees they should record it together.
6. Sonny toasts to the future
Remi and Eden are summoned to the house by Sonny, who surprises his friends by standing up to get them a glass of water.
Next, Sonny wants to show John what he can do and climbs the steps of Salt with Remi’s help.
John is brought up from the beach by Dana and overjoyed to see Sonny standing. The friends celebrate with champagne as Sonny thanks them all for being there for him.
7. Mali moves on
Abigail gets a shock when Mali rocks up unannounced to use her garage as his workshop.
The exes get talking and reach a place of understanding when Mali admits that he likes using the garage as a place to get away from the surf shop.
Afterwards Mali returns to work and catches the eye of one of his students. They decide to grab a coffee together, but Abigail sees and is hurt by how fast Mali seems to have moved on.
8. Alf loses his driving licence
Alarm bells are ringing for Roo when she discovers Alf has failed to book in his medical assessment to renew his licence.
She warns her dad that it’s illegal for him to drive, but Alf won’t be told and drives off in his ute.
His stubbornness soon comes back to bite when Alf is pulled over by the cops and fined. He returns to the Diner and admits to Marilyn that he’s lost his licence, but doesn’t want to be a burden to Roo.
9. Newcomer Richie arrives
David introduces Cash to the station’s newest recruit – Probationary Constable Richard Breznic, aka Richie.
The pair head out for a beer, where Richie asks Abigail how he can get on Cash’s good side. She lies, saying Cash is a total prankster and Richie should play a joke on him.
As Mali passes through Salt, Abigail flirts with Richie to try and make him jealous. Cash warns Abigail not to involve Richie in her break-up, but he doesn’t seem to mind.
10. Richie and Abigail make a connection
Cash returns to his desk, but as he sits down, a loud farting sound erupts through the office.
He’s mortified to realise Richie has left a whoopee cushion on his chair and scolds him for being inappropriate.
Richie heads over to Salt and lets Abigail know that she out-pranked him. Sparks fly between the pair and when Abigail asks Richie out, he’s unable to resist.
11. Alf makes a surprise decision
Marilyn and Leah are relieved when Alf reveals that he’s booked an appointment with his GP to get checked over.
The next morning, Alf comes to the Diner and it appears that he’s forgotten about visiting the doctor.
Later, Alf admits the truth to David that he cancelled the appointment on purpose. What is he trying to avoid?
12. Richie and Abigail grow closer
Having already warned Richie to stay clear of Abigail, Cash is annoyed to learn the rookie is taking his sister-in-law out on a date.
After a nervous start, Richie and Abigail have a great night and share a kiss before going back to his place.
The next morning, David is unimpressed when Abigail arrives at the station with a coffee for Richie. And he’s not the only one, because Cash also has reservations about the budding romance.
13. Remi suffers a setback
Remi and Eden transform her living room into a home studio and work late into the night recording their track.
The next morning, disaster strikes when Cash accidentally spills his coffee all over Remi’s music sheets.
Remi feels his creativity has been crushed, but Eden reassures him that he will be able to do it again.
