On Home and Away, Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) is doing her best to help out while her lover, Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor), recovers from a life-threatening car accident.
Dean’s surfboard company is being operated by Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) while he is away.
Ziggy, on the other hand, decides to step in and assist Nikau in running Dean’s surf club classes on the beach.
John Palmer (Shane Withington), the owner of the Surf Club, is concerned about Ziggy’s lack of teaching expertise.
But Ziggy, the garage technician, thinks she’s got the matter under control.
However, things go from bad to worse when a female client is smacked by a board while surfing in the water!
Ziggy downplays the situation and advises Nikau not to inform Dean about the mishap.
But how long will it take before Dean finds the truth when the victim tweets about the surf class accident on social media?
Meanwhile, Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller) is beginning to feel insecure around Nikau, her boyfriend.
When two giddy girls sign up for Nikau’s surfing lesson, Bella feels pushed out of the picture.
It rapidly becomes clear that the females are solely in the class to shoot photos and flirt with Nikau, a former model!
Will Bella be able to keep her emotions in check?
Is her scepticism of the scenario going to cause the pair further problems?
The news about John’s ex-wife, Marilyn Chambers, has him reeling (Emily Symons).
Marilyn has lapsed into a coma as a result of her unexpected fall.
Doctor Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner), who believes Marilyn had a delayed reaction after being exposed during the chemical assault at restaurant Salt, seeks answers from John.
John is sick to his stomach at the prospect of Marilyn’s condition worsening…
