Shock reason that Home and Away’s Lynne McGranger was almost left with a dangerous infection after being unable to use the bathroom at the Logies: ‘I couldn’t get out’

In 2016, Lynne McGranger had a terrible experience at the Logies.

The Home and Away actress claimed to Yahoo this week that she spent so much time confined in her blue couture garment that it nearly caused her to go unwell.

The 70-year-old chose a pricey Alin Le’ Kal gown that she was unable to remove to use the restroom.

She said to the magazine, “I almost got a UTI in [that dress], because I couldn’t get out of it.”

I was unable to use the restroom for eight hours. It was incredible that I couldn’t get out of the bloody thing.

According to Lynne, she now bases her red carpet ensembles on how simple it is to take them off.

She joked, “Now I’m like, “Can I get out of it?” when trying things on.”

In this month’s 63rd TV Week Logie Awards, Lynne is up for the Most Popular Actress honour.

The 2023 Logies will be held in Sydney for the first time in 37 years, according to recent confirmation from Channel Seven.

This year’s speakers include Abbie Chatfield, Alan Fletcher, Celeste Barber, Colin Fassnidge, Emma Hamilton, Grant Denyer, Joel Creasey, Kat Stewart, Kyle Sandilands, Kylie Gillies, Larry Emdur, and Lincoln Younes.

Another significant shift has been made known; networks will no longer receive substantial payouts as a perk for bringing in celebrities.

The Australian’s Media Diary claims that media behemoths won’t any longer be compensated for sending celebrities to the award show.

A 60-year collaboration came to an end when TV Week magazine announced in February 2022 that it will stop producing the programme.
