Next week on UK television, Marilyn Chambers from Home and Away faces yet another unsettling menace.
As she deals with the repercussions of coming out against dishonest skincare firm Stunning Organics, the fan favourite is left feeling terrified.
In upcoming episodes of Channel 5, Marilyn makes the decision to speak to the media about her experience as a brand ambassador for the company.
Marilyn has been given the chance to resolve her dispute privately with the business, but she declines because she doesn’t want other people to become involved in the dubious pyramid scheme.
Marilyn agrees to a phone interview with a reporter from a newspaper in the hopes that word would get out that Stunning Organics should be avoided at all costs.
When the article appears in the newspaper, Marilyn is thrilled to see how she is portrayed as an Australian warrior and a hero.
Despite the compliments, Marilyn quickly encounters some negative feedback on her profile as a brand ambassador, which seems to be a result of the story.
Then, Marilyn gets a terrifying phone message from a disembodied voice warning her and her pals to be on the lookout.
The threat is reported to the police by Marilyn and her friend Roo Stewart, who both point out that Stunning Organics is undoubtedly to blame.
Police officer Rose Delaney investigates the message and is alarmed to see that the caller ID service was successfully tampered with, making it harder to track the call.
Rose warns Marilyn to be cautious because Marilyn’s adversary has obviously gone to considerable lengths to conceal their identity.
Marilyn afterwards feels as though someone is following her as she shuts down the diner. Is Marilyn in danger of dying?
