After losing 12 kg, James Stewart has demonstrated his remarkable physical transformation.
The 47-year-old Home and Away actor posted two Instagram pictures of himself on Monday, one of him seeming wider in a baggy white T-shirt and the other of him looking extremely ripped.
In the pictures that were taken “after,” James could be seen beaming with delight as he flexed his abs and posed shirtless in a gym.
He revealed in his comment that he was on a weight loss journey and was finding it difficult to physically ‘keep up’ with Scout, the 10-year-old daughter he had with his ex-girlfriend, actress Jessica Marais.
“I was 100 kg. I’m now 88 kg.” I was lethargic… I felt bad and was wearing big shirts,’ the actor admitted.
The fact that I couldn’t keep up with my child and now she has difficulties keeping up with me really got to me. Haha!’
James, who portrays Justin Morgan in the Channel Seven serial opera, also gave some advice to anyone attempting to “get in shape,” admitting that the process is harder than it seems.
“To everyone trying to get in shape, I won’t sugarcoat it… Put on your trainers and head to the gym instead of drinking beer and eating burgers, he advised.
“Sounds easy… I’ve done it twice, but it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Once with the absolute finest trainers ever, and now without… and although I am physically fit, my preferred benefit is mental fitness.’
“I feel confident in myself. His message concluded, “A better man, a better husband, and a better father.”
The star’s hard work and dedication were lauded by friends and followers.
“Man, what a fantastic accomplishment.” Georgie Parker, who played you on Home and Away, said, “You look healthy and HAPPY.”

James’ statement was made after Sarah Roberts, his wife and a co-star on the TV show Home and Away, was compelled to deny reports that the couple had broken up.
After weeks of rumours that their marriage was in trouble, the couple finally proved in January that they were still very much together by posting affectionate pictures of themselves.
“I love you, baby!…kicking off 2023 in style! Stewart posted a gallery of pictures from their summer vacation along with the hashtag “@smithsresort” on Instagram.

The break-up rumours started after Stewart, who wed Roberts in 2019, failed to appear for the Wog Boys Forever premiere in Melbourne in October.
He was “nowhere to be seen on the red carpet,” according to The Daily Telegraph, and he reportedly stopped following his wife’s Instagram.
Roberts’ agent, though, denied that they had split up.
From 2017 to 2021, Roberts played the lead role on Home and Away before leaving to concentrate on her acting career.
Stewart continues to play Justin Morgan, the lead character in the Australian serial opera.
Prior to their separation in 2015, he was engaged to co-star Marias from Packed to the Rafters.
