Neighbours releases dramatic trailer and confirms return date!

The brand-new season of Neighbours has a trailer, and the network has announced that it will debut on Amazon Freeview and Channel 10 on September 18th.

The release of fresh episodes every day from Monday through Thursday has also been confirmed.

The show recently announced that it will air on Australia’s Channel 10 for the first time since 2011, in addition to airing on Amazon Freevee in the UK.

The programme will start at 4:30 PM on the main channel of 10 and have a rerun at 6:30 PM on 10 Peach.

‘Neighbours: A new chapter’ is the name of a recent piece of promotional artwork for the series that gives us our first look at the entire group together.

In addition, a brand-new show promo teases a wedding, new characters, and gives us our first glimpse of Mischa Barton as Reece Sinclair from The OC.

Terese is revealed to be the blushing bride in the 40-second teaser, which also teases lots of drama for the first few months of the show, including a Neighbours wedding to begin things off.

“All the cast and crew are incredibly excited” that Ramsay Street will officially welcome viewers back to the neighbourhood on September 18 in the UK and Australia and that it will also be introduced to brand-new audiences in the US and Canada when the new chapter of Neighbours is unveiled, according to Jason Herbison, the show’s executive producer, when speaking about the impending return.

The commercial begins with a beach scene and the Melbourne skyline in the distance, maybe teasing that the upcoming season will take us farther outside of Erinsborough.

Before we finally return to the comfort of Ramsay Street, there is a sight of Melbourne’s central business district.

The Varga-Murphy family, which includes teenage sons JJ (Riley Bryant) and Dex (Marley Williams) and mothers Remi (Naomi Rukavina) and Cara (Sara West), arrive.

As they unpack the car, Remi waves over to Karl (Alan Fletcher), who is also waving.

Paul (Stefan Dennis) then examines the love lock that he and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) left at Lassiter’s Lake.

Is Paul there lamenting the loss of yet another of his wives since that it is widely believed that Terese and Toadie (Ryan Moloney) will be getting married at the big Erinsborough wedding?

Or maybe the rumours are untrue and he’s just thrilled to get married to the person he loves again.

Does he have a strategy, or is that sly expression on his face?

Then, in a quick scene, we find Sadie (Emerald Chan), Mackenzie (Georgie Stone), and the recently-recast Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux) enjoying a day at the beach.

Then came Reece Sinclair, who was portrayed by Mischa Barton, a famous actress. Her appearance in the teaser shows her going out of the lift in Lassiters Hotel, which is exactly where her storyline was predicted to take place.

Why did she travel to Erinsborough?

Mischa has already finished filming her final scenes, so she won’t be staying in Erinsborough for very long. There is no information on whether Jane’s son Byron will have a love or business relationship with her character, but we do know that he will.

Along with Guy Pearce and Annie Jones reprising their roles, we also get the widely anticipated Mike and Jane plotline.

The largest influence on the series finale last July may have come from Guy Pearce’s reappearance as 1980s star Mike Young. While several of Neighbours’ well-known characters from previous seasons only made brief appearances, Mike had a significant role in the episodes’ final week.

It was expected that Guy wouldn’t be playing Mike again when it was revealed that Amazon had intervened to save Neighbours earlier this year.

For the final episodes of the programme, Guy Pierce returned to the role of Mike Young.

Guy Pierce, who appeared in Memento, L.A. Confidential, and The Hurt Locker, has grown to be one of Hollywood’s biggest stars since leaving Neighbours in 1989. Thus, one of the main concerns concerning the resumption of the show was how the writers would explain Mike’s absence.

It was announced in May that Mike will be coming back for “a little appearance or two.”

Will Mike and Jane have a happy ending, or is he just returning to tie up the plot’s loose ends?

They kiss in the advertisement.

Then Terese appeared in a photo.

Prior to assuring Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) that their wedding day will always be in his memory.

Toadie seems to be comforting Melanie, which feeds speculation that the couple, whose wedding played a significant role in the show’s final episodes, won’t be together when it resumes.

There are only six weeks left before we know for sure!

As Mackenzie hangs out with newbie Haz Devkar (Shiv Palekar), who will soon take over as Harold’s manager, may there be romance in store for her?

Following the passing of her husband Hendrix (Ben Turland) in the latter weeks of the show, Mackenzie experienced sadness. Is she now ready for a change now that the programme will return 14 months after it ended and there are reports of a two-year time jump?

Then, as the wedding that will start the new programme is finalised, comes the moment we’ve all been waiting for: a wedding dress.

We hear Mackenzie read what we can only guess are the forthcoming vows, “Marriage means different things to different people.”

As the wedding party waits for the bride to arrive, Karl (Alan Fletcher) is all smiles.

The renewal of his vows to Terese, his scheme to separate Terese and Toadie, or just his most recent business transaction with Lassiters—Paul argues, “This cannot go wrong!”

Toadie remarks as he stands next to Karl and Leo (Tim Kano) at the Vinyard, where the huge wedding is set to take place, “I think they call it,’making an entrance'”.

A sign behind Leo reveals the majority of what is about to occur.

“Welcome to Terese and…’s wedding,”

Terese and just who?

Who exactly is Terese getting married to when the wedding car pulls up?

Our Ramsay Street favourites continue to dance, with Harold (Ian Smith) and Susan (Jackie Woodburne) taking centre stage.

As he dances to the left of Karl, it is also confirmed that Toadie’s adopted son Callum (Morgan Baker) makes a brief comeback.

Hugo, Toadie’s son, is standing behind Susan; he has undergone SORASing, or Soap Opera Rapid Ageing Syndrome, which entails recasting and ageing up by a few years.

In less than six weeks, we’ll discover just what’s going on!

Along with two FAST Channels that air episodes of the show continuously: “Neighbours – Looking Back” and “Best of Neighbours,” previous seasons of Neighbours as well as numerous memorable episodes are already available to view on Amazon Freevee.

Alan Fletcher, Annie Jones, Candice Leask, Emerald Chan, Georgie Stone, Jackie Woodburne, Lloyd Will, Lucinda Armstrong Hall, Lucinda Cowden, Marley Williams, Naomi Rukavina, Rebekah Elmaloglou, Riley Bryant, Ryan Moloney, Sara West, Shiv Palekar, Stefan Dennis, Tim Kano, and Xavier Molyneux will all appear as recurring characters in the new series.

Guest stars include April Rose Pengilly, Guy Pearce, Ian Smith, Jodi Gordon, Melissa Bell, and Mischa Barton.
