In their roles as Chloe Brennan and Elly Conway on Ramsay Street, April Rose Pengilly and Jodi Gordon will return.
Prior to the soap opera’s return on Amazon Freevee later in 2023, fans of Neighbours have been treated to some additional exciting casting news.
Chloe Brennan and Elly Conway, a fan favourite duo, have been confirmed by April Rose Pengilly and Jodi Gordon to return to Ramsay Street. Elly Conway revealed the news on her Twitter account yesterday (Wednesday, May 24).
She Tweeted, “We are thrilled to announce that CHELLY ARE BACK!” “I’ll be back on set very soon with @jodigordon for the new @neighbors,” he said.
Thank you so much for your support, she continued. Chloe and Elly’s upcoming chapter will be shared with you soon, and we can’t wait.
Before Neighbours’ initial run ended last year, the couple had reconciled in the final episodes, and it now seems that the revival will carry on what they previously referred to as “the greatest love story ever told.”
They are the newest celebrities to formally commit to the Neighbours revival, joining a long list that already includes Jackie Woodburne’s Susan Kennedy, Alan Fletcher’s Karl Kennedy, Stefan Dennis’ Paul Robinson, and Ryan Moloney’s Toadie Rebecchi.
A lot more well-known characters would return to Ramsay Street for the revival, according to Dennis, who exclusively revealed this to RadioTimes.com last month. Dennis said: “We have been told that they’re getting back as many of the original cast that were there at the end.”
Guy Pearce’s return as Mike Young for “a little appearance or two” and the return of Lucinda Armstrong-Hall as Holly Hoyland, Lloyd Will as Sergeant Andrew Rodwell, Emerald Chan as Sadie Rodwell, and Candice Leask as Wendy Rodwell are recent additions to the cast.
Mischa Barton from The OC will be appearing in the upcoming series as a guest star, joining the cast.
