This week on Home and Away in Australia, as Remi discovers the truth about Sonny’s drug use, will he tell Dana what’s going on with her boyfriend?
Sonny (Ryan Bown) has been pushing himself hard since the devastating crash six months ago that left him fearing he may never walk again.
Although Sonny’s now back on his feet and has made impressive progress in recent weeks, now able to walk unaided, he remains frustrated by the limits being placed on him.

His obsession with his gym sessions has repeatedly caused concern, with gym owner Tane (Ethan Browne) eventually forced to step in and limit his workouts to one hour per day.
The situation took a worrying turn when fellow gym-goer Beau (Blake Richardson) offered Sonny a way to speed up his progress.

When it became clear that Beau wasn’t talking about your average supplement, Sonny was initially wary. But his desperation eventually caused him to cave in, and Beau started supplying him with steroids.

Since then, Sonny’s begun getting caught in a web of lies.
The situation complicated itself further when Harper (Jessica Redmayne) crossed paths with Beau at the gym, forcing Sonny to cover by claiming Beau was a physio.

Harper was clearly interested, but Sonny tried to shut down any romance, warning that Beau wasn’t her type.
Dana (Ally Harris) encouraged the match however, and passed on her sister’s number to Beau, leaving Sonny panicked.

He later tried to sabotage their planned date by claiming Beau already had a girlfriend, but the lie quickly fell apart when Harper confronted Beau and learned he was indeed single.
Beau later warned Sonny not to interfere, making it clear that an agreement between them could work both ways—he’d keep quiet about how they really knew each other, as long as Sonny stopped messing with his relationship with Harper.

But as Beau and Harper’s new romance bloomed, Sonny’s unease grew along with it. With Sonny’s attitude starting to raise questions, Beau warned him to wind his neck in.
When Sonny replied that their agreement didn’t work for him, and warned him to back off Harper, Beau in turn threatened to cut off his steroid supply altogether.

The warning left Sonny trapped. He wanted Beau out of their lives, but he was also becoming increasingly dependent on the pills Beau was supplying.
Remi (Adam Rowland) has also started to realise that something isn’t right with his friend. Sonny has become increasingly defensive and erratic, despite the fact that his physical recovery appears to be going well.
Sonny was also forced to ask Remi for a loan to cover his portion of rent for the apartment, after he used up his cash on pills.

After witnessing Sonny and Beau’s encounter on the beach, Remi became even more suspicious and pushed his friend for answers.

Sonny quickly became defensive, and the situation took a shocking turn when Sonny lost control and punched Remi, leaving his best mate with a split lip—and even more convinced that something was seriously wrong.

Next week, Remi’s fears only grow when he talks things through with John (Shane Withington).

Remi admits that Sonny isn’t himself at the moment, while John agrees that he’s been unusually moody—especially when, physically, he appears to be doing well.

With all the warning signs becoming harder to ignore, Remi confronts Sonny again, and asks him outright whether he’s taking drugs.

Sonny immediately dismisses the suggestion, but Remi pushes further, asking whether it’s steroids. Sonny insists that he isn’t taking anything, then challenges Remi to prove it.

“Alarm bells are ringing for such uncharacteristic behaviour,” Adam Rowland tells TV Week. “When the aggression gets to a whole new level, Remi is forced to invade Sonny’s privacy and call him out.”
Taking drastic action, Remi searches Sonny’s apartment, where he finds the bottle of pills Sonny has been hiding.

When Remi confronts him with the evidence, Sonny is furious, insisting he had no right to break into his place and go through his things.

Remi tries to explain that he’s worried about him, but Sonny’s in no mood to listen.
As a promo for this week’s episodes shows, whilst Remi begins to research ways to help people misusing steroids, Sonny is at home where his anger boils over.

The following day, Remi catches up with Dana, who spots the split lip and immediately has questions.
Knowing that Sonny needs more help than he’s able to provide, Remi has no choice but to break the news to Dana that Sonny has been using steroids.
Dana struggles to accept what Remi has told her, and has to hear it from Sonny himself—but will he admit it when she confronts him with Remi’s claim?
Meanwhile, Beau continues to enjoy his romance with Harper, as they spend some time together on the beach.

Harper notes that Beau’s phone is going off non-stop, as he again claims that it’s his physio clients needing advice.

Harper’s previously expressed her admiration for how Beau seems to care so much about his clients, blissfully unaware that they’re actually messages from people wanting supplies from their dealer.

Later in the day, Beau meets with an agitated Sonny who has been desperately trying to get hold of him and says he needs more pills.
But there’s one problem—Sonny has no money with which to pay for them.
Rather than cutting him off, Beau agrees to cover the cost himself, leaving Sonny in his debt.
What will Beau expect in return?
