Sam Frost appears to mock Home And Away’s dramatic storylines

Just weeks after her highly publicised exit from the Channel 7 serial, Sam Frost appears to be mocking the show’s dramatic plots.

The 32-year-old Australian reality star turned actress shared an article from the parody website The Betoota Advocate, which mocked the local show’s tendency for adding car disaster scenarios.

‘Home And Away Writer Fired For Not Meeting One Car Crash Scene Per Season Quota,’ stated the title of the piece.

Frost, who recorded her final scenes for the show in December after disclosing she had not been vaccinated against Covid-19 earlier in the year, shared the item on her Instagram stories before commenting on the original post with a quote from the piece.

Along with laughing emojis, she wrote, “and if feasible, an explosion.”

For four years, Frost portrayed Jasmine Delaney on the show.

In October, the former Bachelorette sparked outrage when she confessed in an emotional, since-deleted video on her Instagram that she had not been vaccinated, despite the Seven network’s requirement that all staff be vaccinated.

She acknowledged that she “might get in trouble” for expressing her position, but urged “compassion” and “empathy” for individuals who have made the same decision as her, noting that “there’s a lot of segregation.”

Frost told her 577,000 Instagram followers, “I was extremely apprehensive about shooting a video or even speaking up about this sort of thing, but I feel like it’s getting to a stage now in the world where there’s a lot of segregation, a lot of harsh judgement, and it’s taking its toll on my mental health.”

“There are a variety of reasons why people don’t get vaccinated, including their medical history, their worries, their family history, religious beliefs, and so on.”

“I want to inform those people who feel as if they’re being cut off from society: I’m not vaccinated, and there’s a reason for it.

“I’ve discussed it with my doctor and psychologist, and I intend to keep it private.”

Frost revealed after the uproar that she would get vaccinated in February because she had a medical operation scheduled for January.

She stated at the time that she would return to reprise her part in early 2022.

“My managers are incredible; we’ve been communicating openly for months.” She wrote, “I’m grateful we were able to come up with a solution that works for everyone.”

However, only a few weeks later, it was announced that Frost would be departing the show and relocating to Melbourne.

She recently announced the publication of Believe, a memoir about her mental health difficulties.
