Home and Away’s Ari Parata to make shocking plan after death scene

After November’s dramatic season finale, which saw Ari’s new fiancée Mia Anderson faced with a horrifying dilemma, Ari Parata will make a shocking plan when Home and Away returns to Australian screens next week for a new season.

Mia (Anna Samson) bravely told her daughter Chloe Anderson (Sam Barrett) in the final week of 2021 that Chloe’s newly arrived father Matthew Montgomery (James Sweeny) had sexually assaulted her in the past, resulting in Chloe’s conception.

Upset Chloe stood by her mother and told Matthew she didn’t want anything to do with him anymore, but when Matthew became violent toward Mia, Chloe panicked and hit him over the head with a brick to get him away from her mother.

Mia was taken aback when she realised Matthew had died as a result of the blow, and she hurriedly instructed Chloe to go inside and forget about it before throwing Matthew’s body into the trunk of her car and speeding away.

Mia will be panicking when the soap returns, according to TV Week, as she speeds away from Summer Bay, with the cops hot on her tail after her erratic driving gets Cash Newman’s attention (Nicholas Cartwright).

“Sheer terror overtakes Mia,” Anna Samson, who plays Mia, remarked. “She had no other plan but to keep her kid safe.”

Mia eventually pulls over and enables the cops to speak with her after realising she has nowhere else to go. Mia frantically wipes away her blood-stained sweater as Cash approaches the driver’s seat – but it’s too late for Mia, as Cash inspects her car and discovers Matthew dead in the boot.

Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) is busy at home, consoling Chloe, who has been traumatised by the Matthew tragedy. Ari’s bad luck continues when he receives a call from Cash informing him that Mia has been detained on suspicion of murder.

Ari rushes to the police station, pleading with Mia to speak with her. While Cash is well aware that this is not permitted, the look on Ari’s face convinces him to give in since he feels there is more to the scenario than meets the eye.

Ari and Mia hug, and Ari promises that he will take care of the matter and that neither Mia nor Chloe will face jail time for defending themselves against Matthew. Mia, on the other hand, believes her fate is sealed, and she will do everything she can to keep Chloe out of it.

“Ari is fiercely protective and will always try to help,” Anna explained, “but Mia must protect Chloe.”

While Mia awaits formal charges in Matthew’s murder, Ari devises a bold plan that could save Mia – but it also has the potential to turn his life upside down.

“Sometimes Ari acts first and thinks later,” said actor Rob. “He’ll go to any length to protect his family.”

What exactly is Ari up to, and will it be enough to free Mia from prison?
