Tane Parata of Home and Away will be seen in the UK next week, unable to resist his girlfriend Felicity Newman.
Following Matthew Montgomery’s death, Tane (Ethan Browne) encourages his family to band together, but he quickly breaks his own rules.
Chloe Anderson (Sam Barrett) accidently killed her father by bashing him over the head with a brick last week, according to UK viewers. When Matthew became threatening, she did it to protect her mother Mia (Anna Samson).
Mia’s partner Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) chooses to fabricate a false confession to Matthew’s murder to keep her and Chloe out of danger in this week’s scenes on Channel 5.
Tane is at first perplexed as to why his older brother would assume responsibility for a crime he did not commit.
When Tane realises Ari is set on this path, he promises to honour his brother’s decision and rally the rest of the family behind him.
To avoid having to reveal any specifics with Felicity (Jacqui Purvis), Tane decides to keep his distance from her. His nephew Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) is likewise ordered to do the same with Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller).
Tane, on the other hand, will be unable to escape Felicity when they cross paths at Salt in the coming episodes.
Tane arrives at the restaurant to pick up some pizzas and is surprised to discover Felicity working there now.
Tane invites Felicity to join him outside her caravan for a sensual reunion.
Felicity questions Tane about why they can’t be together now that everyone knows Ari admitted to killing Matthew when they’re alone.
Tane’s reaction is evasive, saying that there are still some things he can’t talk about with her.
Felicity agrees to back off, but she assures Tane that she would be there for him if he decides to breach the rules again.
Tane continues to count on Felicity for emotional support, stating that he is afraid of disappointing the Paratas now that he has taken over as the family’s leader.
Felicity assures Tane that he is not alone, despite the fact that she does not have all the answers.
