Mali Hudson from Home and Away enters a “dark place” after the massive explosion that will be seen on Friday, August 4.
Kyle Shilling, who had his acting debut as Mali the surfer at the beginning of 2022, spoke candidly about the injury the bomb causes his character to suffer as well as the terrible consequences it has on him.
The actor told Daily Star exclusively, “He goes into this fairly dark place because the injury to his ear impairs his equilibrium on the board.
He recently made this major decision to demonstrate to his friends and family back home that he can do this on his own and that he can launch a business and succeed, Kyle said.
“So now that this has occurred, he is left acting so stubbornly. He is unwilling to accept assistance from others.
Fans will watch as Mali runs into financial difficulties after suffering an ear injury that prevents him from continuing his surfing instruction.
“He wants to take it in stride and figure out his own way to keep the board shop open because he can no longer teach surf lessons,” the soap opera star continued.
“We experience this journey of him trying to find a way to maintain the shop.”
Mali rushes to assist them after Marilyn (Emily Symons) learns that two of her pals are in the vicinity of a bomb.
Kyle said that Mali is more concerned with saving his buddies than he is with the danger he is going to put himself in.
“The only thing on his mind is to stop their van and get them out right away,” he claimed. He doesn’t stop to think about it.
Kyle continued, “Mali holds his friends and family so dearly. “The idea of having a friend hurt in any way is not what he wants, and if he thinks he can help them in any way, he will do it,” the author said.
The soap opera actor continued, “It’s a huge testimony to who he is as a person.”
